I decided to try China Island since it was on the way home from work. It was very good. You are able to see the chefs using woks and cooking the food after you order it. The food was fresh and hot. This will be our new go to place for Chinese takeout in Mansfield.

Good not great. Teriyaki chicken and sauce was thin. Tasted more like soy sauce. General tso was really good. House family rice lots of shrimp, chicken and beef. Egg rolls were okay but very small for 1.50 each.

Shame to go in a place that’s clean, the prices were acceptable, the food I ordered was delicious, but the young “lady” was so rude I’ll take my business elsewhere. Apparently she couldn’t grunt out a hello, can I help you? Couldn’t reply with you’re welcome or even the dreaded no problem when I said thank you. Businesses need to realize it’s the whole package. You know the saying. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I won’t be back.

The food was ok. My daughter’s orange chicken was hard and overcooked. My jalapeno shrimp was not very spicy, but the shrimp was tendor. My husband didn’t care for his Mongolian chicken ( too many onions, and he likes onions) Service was decent, we won’t return but others may like it. Best thing was the crab ragoons.

I ordered a dinner fried rice and specifically asked for extra soy sauce. My order was delivered and I had 1 package of soy sauce. I called to advise but no apology or remedy. I was told the driver should have provided it. I could not enjoy my rice because it had no flavor and was dry so disappointing.

Worst most bland spring rolls I have ever had anywhere. It’s two tiny shrimp wrapped up with very wet lettuce and noodles so over cooked and bland it will irritate you with every bite. The only thing that had ANY flavor was the overly sweet peanut sauce. The wrapper was burst as well due to the lettuce being overly wet.
