Family Black owned restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing and delicious. The Creole mac n cheese has so much flavor. The ribs were juicy and fall off the rib. The shrimp and spinach rolls were delicious and unique. Antino made us feel so welcomed and made our experience 1000% better. Do not be nervous by the new look of the place (as of 5/2023) as they recently had their grand opening.

Found this place online before my trip to NOLA and staying at the Hyatt next door. Place looked like it was closed from the outside and it seemed deserted when I walked in. It was at least an hour before the place was scheduled to close so that was bizarre.

Well i must say i enjoyed the fish. It was excellent. Perfectly seasoned. The potato salad was different than I’m accustomed to but when i ate it i loved that as well. Definitely come give it a try if you’re in the area.

This is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST jambalaya pasta I’ve ever had. It tasted like noodles and ketchup and they forgot the chicken. I’m not one to complain so I went with it. Our waitress Amanda was lovely and patient with our group. She was fast and efficient. We were there for Essence. I think we will not do this place again. Ever.

Small wait for a table, totally worth it. Their ability to pair taste and texture is outstanding. Our server Antonio added to suggestions, bringing the experience to an elevated level. High-end experience with affordable prices. Only a little crowded, but expected with a nearby large event.

Customer service was great however I’ve tried barrows twice recently at the Harvey location and the food was impeccable. It was very tasty and seasoned to the Gods! I will never come back to this location. The catfish taste like cornstarch and flour! Absolutely no taste at all. Very disappointed! I’ll be headed back to Harvey

I really don’t leave reviews but this is a must. First the welcoming spirit is on point. The atmosphere inside of Barrows, I must say very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly. Now, Ray Ray were you can sit at the bar and drink and have a drink, was the best, I give his performance a 10. Chef OMG, the cheesy pasta and fish was the best. I truly thank you chef for grilling my fish, I must say grilled too perfection, and the taste was perfect. Thaank you stopping in for dinner was worth it. I will visit again.

We came to New Orleans on girls trip. This was day 2 first stop and they didn’t let us down. Everything was delicious, plates were plentiful and Great service plus a nice environment. I would definitely recommend and will come back again.
