I used to really like this place. Have ordered a few times in the 1.5 years we’ve lived in the neighborhood. But something must have happened and the take out experience last night was downright terrible. For one, had to wait for over an an hour for the order.

This place is absolutely amazing! Hands down best sushi place in Fort Collins. Way better than that other one down the road. Better beer, they have an IPA from a Japanese microbrewery. There’s a sushi robot here!!! And the staff is super friendly.

Waitress was friendly and helpful. Food comes out on a robot waiter, kind of cool.

Wonderful service, fresh sushi, beautifully plated, romantic and elegant decor, furniture, and aura! The roll list has no prices, which led to us getting a $21 roll that came out on fire despite the unknown pricing and surprises, the server even made our Noodles, she was very attentive and so pleasant!! We had the place to ourselves around 2pm on a Saturday!

In some respects, I am not certain how to qualify this place. I can give it at least 4.9 stars for NYC. I am new to Fort Collins but have lived in NYC for 34 years… I can attest this is the best place in Fort Collins sushi and sashimi.

This place is my favorite sushi restaurant in Fort Collins!! Everything tastes so fresh and delicious. It’s such an adorable little hole in the wall and the service was fantastic. You HAVE to try the crispy rice appetizer! I cannot say enough good things about this place. For being in Colorado, their sushi is amazing and soooo fresh tasting. The one thing we were not happy about was how small the seaweed salad was for $6. It’s only like two bites. But otherwise their food is amazing! Absolutely worth checking out!!!

Great atmosphere and very fresh food. Thoughtful and tasteful decor and seating make White Tree an awesome spot for a date or a relaxing meal of any kind. Even the playlist synched with the overall atmosphere. They have a decent sake selection. The fish was all incredibly fresh used in the sushi/sashimi and expertly prepared. Generously-sized rolls and sashimi cuts. Presentation was nice too. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Didn’t feel rushed on a busy night, and my wife and I enjoyed our date thoroughly. Was so good, we came back for a takeout order the next day.

We ordered takeout at 6:09 p.m. and it said it would be ready at 6:54 p.m., but I called at 7:05 and it said it was going to be another 15 minutes, which I was fine with, but when I went in it wasn’t ready and I had to wait at the restaurant until 7:55 pm, so 2 hours for takeout. And the food was not warm/fresh when we ate it and they totally copped us on this $6 seaweed salad that was 2 bites. I thought they would offer us a discount for the 2 hour wait when it was supposed to be 45, because I definitely wouldn’t have ordered if I knew it was going to take that long, but I guess not.

I spent $92 dollars and received the worst rolled and cut rolls I think I’ve ever gotten. We are hungry and my husband was already late coming home, so.. Can’t really spend another hour and a half waiting for new food. This is the third time out of the many times we have ordered from here that have been like this. The last time was on a Saturday, so we just accepted what we got but it’s a Tuesday night.. For anything nearing $100 to get this is unacceptable. Looked fine before opening, he had checked before he left, but all of the rolls are falling apart and the special rolls are severely lacking on things like tobiko that are in the description of the roll. The tempura is mushy even though he was waiting there to pick it up. The only thing not pictured was the crispy rice appetizers which were burnt. So expensive for something so sub par.
