I had an incredible dining experience at Happy Lamb Hot Pot in Naperville! The premium lamb slices were absolutely top-notch, so tender and flavorful. The iconic spicy soup base was the perfect balance of heat and richness, making each bite a delight. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. This was the second time we were here. The first time was their early days of restaurant opening. I felt like the service was declining. Used to be very attentive to your item selections and they always greet you. This time, probably the staff were used to the routine. They never explain the soup bases and just told me to just select the “best of two world soup base”. We ordered for the steamed rice and was never to given to us until we asked for it the third time. Same for the spoons and forks. Have to asked to another server the third time. The guy serving us acted like he was ready to leave his shift. We were here around 12:50 lunch time.

We got here at 12 noon in a Thursday and it wasn’t too busy at all! We pick two soup base, one tomato and the other spicy! The tomato had a lot of flavor! We also ordered lamb, garlic beef, premium beef, shrimp paste, shrimp, mini octopus and lots of fresh vegetables! The fried dough buns with condensed milk was a treat, since they don’t have ice cream anymore.

Great food, friendly service, and very nice atmosphere. The inside was beautiful and the seating areas were very nice. The induction heaters on the tables were also high quality. The service was good they leave you alone mostly but are always willing to help and friendly if you ask for their attention. All you can eat is cheap for how much you eat and the food was delicious. The bathrooms were also nice and very clean. I’ll definitely be going back!

I don’t know what the people below me are talking about. Sucks that they had a bad experience but my wife and I enjoyed this place. The first time we had hot pot was at another restaurant and was BAD. We almost wrote them off all together glad we didn’t. The broth did need a touch more soy which we added ourselves and really enjoyed the rich flavors the chefs prepared. Wayne at the front was very helpful and even assisted our table. No complaints, I will be returning.

My wife and I came in without reservations and waited 15 min for a table, no biggie. We ordered way too much delicious food to cook into our hot pot. We recommend the half spicy half regular for the variety. We’ll definitely have to bring some friends next time this kind of dinner is best with a group.
