The woman who waited on me this evening was great. She waited on me with patience and kindness. She is very blessed, has a great smile, red really is her color…The food she prepared for me was a generous amount for the price. The taste of the curry chicken was very flavorful. Some of the best I’ve had. If you’ve never been here before you should definitely try it. It’s the small restaurants that pack the biggest punch when it comes to authentic traditional food dishes. This is one you should really take the time to try.

An experience reminiscent of my days growing up in the West Indies – Trinidad & Tobago. Excellent service Caribean style mixed with light-hearted conversation served fresh in a simple, unhurried environment. The curry dishes and soups were delicious.

The could not have been authentic Jamaican food. The brown stew chicken was not made how most Jamaicans make it literally was chicken legs on a bed of hard rice and beans the cabbage had no seasoning. None of the food taste seasoned. I’ve gone to multiple Jamaican restaurants and this by far has been the worse and I drove almost an hr. Will not be returning

Ordered 4 lunch plates of several different combinations. Was told it would be a little over an hour and a half. Had to change out one dish due to availability of ingredients. That having been said, the food was ready in time and was fantastic.

We had red snapper. We are from up north and I will tell you I was pleased. Most definitely call your order in ahead of time of your getting fish. The rice and peas could have been better but the cabbage was Supreme. Didn’t care for the mac either.

Ordered on doordash but the order didn’t confirm, so I called in and caught the cook right as she was about close the store down and she still made my order for me and also added extra, love eating here and will always recommend other people come try it as well

Just left this place and let me tell you… this woman can cook!!! I ordered curry goat with a double side of cabbage and a side order of oxtails. The goat and oxtails were fall off the bone tender with an incredible gravy on both. The cabbage was perfect.. not mushy and not overly crispy, but had a proper firmness with a great flavor. My original intention was to save some food for lunch tomorrow, but needless to say I’m laying here with a tight belly because I couldn’t stop eating. I never thought I would find Jamaican food this good in Sumter, SC of ALL places lol.

I work long shifts while TDY to Shaw AFB. I treat myself here though on my days off. I recommend the oxtail/rice and peas. Expect a 30-1 hour wait if you order her fried dumplings that come out fresh.

Great food! Small place with minimal seating. The wait was lengthy but the food was fresh and hot. The cashier was very nice and explained that the sides we ordered was just put on so it would be a wait. We were fine with that. Oxtails were great! Jerk chicken was excellent. A healthy portion of Mac and cheese and cabbage. Very clean facility. We will be back!
