Random find for me. Wanted some Thai food so searched and this highly rated place could be passed up. It’s located in a regular shopping mall. First impression walking in was all the clutter they have on the counter and behind it. But my over all experience was great. Definitely enjoyed the food. I wanted my noodles hot. She recommended me to go mid range because it’s already really hot. It wasn’t spicy at all. So if u want a kick get the level 5. Sent it! I don’t agree o. The price but it’s just how it is these days. I’ll definitely be back.

Always delicious, hot and mild for me regarding spicy. They accommodate your “spicy” levels. Owner is always there and works hard to serve me when I go with friends. I go here when I want Thai. It’s always consistent.

Some of the best Thai food we have ever had! We tried the eggplant dish and a curry – both with tofu, and it was so delicious and full of veggies! Also the spice level was perfection. We will definitely be back. Really grateful we found this special gem.

Honestly the BEST Thai food I’ve had in my life. The pad Thai was delicious and the mango sticky rice is to die for. The server was super attentive and fast and the food was made super quick as well. 10/10 would recommend, I’m definitely gonna be back in the future

They were happy to modify my order to be vegan and the food was very good (tasty). I ordered dine in and the dining area was pleasant and clean. All good to me. I would definitely go back. It’s right across the the street from the Banner Baywood hospital.

Food was great, very tasty. Staff was polite and attentive. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for some authentic tasting Thai dishes, we had the Chicken larb, yellow curry noodles, chicken pad Thai, Thai fried rice. Last week was the second time I visited Thai Plates. It has been a couple of years. In fact I had forgotten I had history with this place. The food was ordinary. However the service/owner is my challenge. They do not service alcohol. Which is OK. I do prefer having a beer or glass of wine with my dinner. The first time I asked the server/owner why. He reported there was some sort of drug rehab facility in the area and he could not get a license because of that. Upon my visit last week, realizing I had been there before, I asked the server/owner if he ever got a license? He replied he could not for he had underage family members that worked there. Which is it????? I feel he was untruthful at least one of the times. Also, my dining companion was not satisfied with his Won Tons. He mentioned it to the server/owner, His reply was his wife makes them and walked off. There is customer service 😉 Next the server/owner was not pleasant at all. I do not recall him ever cracking a smile. Oddly, the place was filled. He even turned down people coming in the door 45 minutes before closing time!?!??!
