Customer Service is TOP Notch !!! The very nice woman at Soul by the Sea notified me that they were out of biscuits before I got there. When I got there she gave me biscuits AND red velvet cake. They are the most customer friendly place in Philly.

Ordered salmon broccoli potato and shrimp Alfredo… everything looked very good, plated nicely and then it hit me like a ton of bricks… The smell of everything is bathing in butter that over powered the garlic !!! could not even breathe and started gagging… the butter was nothing I ever seen ( and you remember the corn from KFC butter ask for extra and a side of butter) that dish could still be eaten if that’s your thing…now the other dish was in a round aluminum ten with plastic lid about 2in deep, filled when I say filled with butter just nasty butter that rendered that dish uneatable… My son said bad night, it happens… Well if it was up to me Big changes with that butter…give me an option…and a lot of refunds just may have them think about it… It’s the hood give them anything they will eat it and keep eating it until they die… Would have loved to taste the salmon…

The food was terrible, I would never go back it was a waste of money and it was expensive, the fish was pre frozen and felt like rubber, the stuffed Salmon had crab shells in it, the Mac and Chesse was Kraft mac and cheese, the turkey wings were tough as nails and the fried chicken was bland…. They put old bay over everything and it was just horrible. Everything was terrible.

UPDATE: I ordered food from Soul by the Sea again and made a mistake of ordering the corn after I said it wasn’t good! I should have taken my own advice because the corn is just not tasty at all! The potatoes were good. However, I had to mix up my own garlic butter, which wasn’t a big deal. Now the shrimp looked a little different this time. They weren’t as golden brown and didn’t look as fresh as the last time. I am trying to support this black business but I need you to be on point every time I order.

Disappointed to say the least, I got the shrimp and fries. The shrimp was microwaved and the fries as well, didn’t looked cooked at all. The shrimp was sooo rubbery ( probably from being heated up to much). The top to my cocktail sauce was even warped from it going in the microwave ( bc the food wasn’t even hot enough to melt plastic) I also got the fish with two sides. Flavorless. Unfortunately not on my places to visit when in Philly list.

I ordered online. I ordered the salmon and rice and the piece salmon is soooooo small with all this extra rice i guess they call they self giving me extra rice cause the salmon so small but i would have never ordered it if i knew the salmon would be this small. I will neverrrrrrrr order from here again! The disrespect is real. On top of the small piece of salmon they gave me a sugar free ginger ale. Yea never again!

Sides can be better and the Turkey wings are so tough no gravy to cook them down in its like they browned them to quick but they weren’t cooked all the way through sad smh.

Shrimp corn and potatoes was super nasty corn was not done shrimp over cooked potatoes just nasty I have ordered here before fried shrimp good but this was horrible praying I don’t sick I took a bite of everything and was like o heck no I’m pissed like why serve people food like that
