We stopped in after a long day of driving from Virginia. It was pretty late and not many kitchens were open but we were so lucky to have found Kathmandu! We ordered a couple of local brews that were on tap and the vegetarian appetizer platter. Everything tasted amazing but I think the veggie samosas were my favorite. My friend and I decided to share the chicken vindaloo and the chicken korma and also ordered some garlic naan to go with it. I was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We were so pleasantly surprised that we found this amazing spot on our journey.

Excellent experience dining in. I had the Chicken Tikka Tandoori. High quality halal meat. Came out on a sizzling iron platter nice touch. Great flavors and great portion. The naan was also excellent. Looking forward to trying other dishes in the future.

My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary recently. We live near it and every time we pass it it smells AMAZING so we decided we had to give it a try and boy it did not disappoint. There weren’t many people there but to be fair it was a monday evening so it was pretty quiet. The service was great – very polite. Once we ordered, the food came out super fast and it was fresh and hot and had amazing flavor. We really enjoyed everything we got and we will definitely be going back again.

The chicken tikka Marsala was very good. The sauce was very creamy and the chunks of chicken in it were big and cooked well. The spices were very fragrant and the food was filling. The rice came in a metal bowl which kept it nice and warm. Our server was also a very nice person, it was his first day. The service was decently fast. The restaurant turns into a bar and has music at night also.

I absolutely love Kathmandu!! The new management is wonderful and very accommodating. The food is SO good and always served nice and hot and somehow stays the perfect temperature the entire meal. You can tell they take pride in what they cook and you never have to wait too long. I love this place and the whole staff!!
