I really don’t like to give a restaurant anything less then 5 or 4 stars but unfortunately La Strada falls short in almost every category. First the good, very good salads. Now onto the criticism. Service was not good. Staff that did not seem trained properly. Forgetful and slow is the best way to describe the service. The pizza counter looks delicious. We selected 6 different slices to eat at the table. I really was under whelmed by most. The calamari slice looked awesome and had absolutely no flavor. The penne pasta slice with garlic knots crust was served cold in the center and besides the crust had little flavor. One person at our table ordered snapper fish. It was terrible, came out grey with a congealed sauce. It’s unfortunate when an Italian restaurant can’t get the basics right. We won’t return.

What can I say, La Strada is my #1 pizza place. Always. If I need or want pizza, I’m coming here. Their slices are creative, unique, delicious, always changing and evolving with flavors and combinations… it’s one of my favorite restaurants here in Millburn since I moved here 5 years ago. The new owners are extremely nice and welcoming, and they care a lot about their customers and community. I’ve told friends who live in different parts of NJ about Strada and they’ve all said the same amazing things. Highly recommended!

My friend and I had dinner here last Saturday night. We had the pleasure to dine in the cute outdoor patio where they had a musician playing the blues. He was entertaining and made the experience more delightful. We had the summer pear salad and shared the gnocchi. The service was great, they always checked in on us. I also appreciate the fact that it’s BYOB. Definitely would go back here.

Great family restaurant, plenty of inside and outside seating. Great customer service. Very good pasta dishes but we usually go for the pizza slices. My wife loves the thin Sicilian slices of broccoli rob with sausage, while I usually go for either plain or once in a while, 1 slice of the chicken BBQ which fills me up.

Another one of my favorite spots to go. Their pizza is very flavorful and delicious. I also enjoy their entrees, although I’ve only had a few especially their chicken Giambiata. They have a nice little outside terrace in a in a courtyard plus indoor dining.

Great light pizza and I get takeout from here around every 1-2 weeks. As for dine in, the staff is really nice and there’s a wide variety of pasta. Would highly recommend.
