Exceptional. There’s a reason this place rated so high. The owner and staff are from a previous location that I frequented so it was such a delight to see them in this new spot. The owner came out of retirement probably because all loyal customers missing them and the amazing food! They genuinely care about you and the quality of food they serve to you. You and your taste buds will be taken care of. Just close your eyes and place your finger on any part of the menu, you can’t pick a bad thing. Enjoy and you’re welcome!! 😉

Highly recommend! The food was flavorful and service was great! Both me and my boyfriend agreed that this could be rated as one of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve tried recently. We’ll definitely come back to try more on the menu!

If there was an option to give six stars, I would give six stars. We ordered the walnut shrimp, Sichuan Malatang with lamb + fish, and Taiwanese beef soup. As for the walnut shrimp, it was plump, it had just the perfect amount of heavenly sweet and creamy sauce, yummy walnuts to add some nuttiness, and broccoli steamed to perfection. After some sweetness entered into your body, you need some spiciness to balance it out. Here comes the malatang♡ OMG. We ordered the medium spice level. Once the broth touches your tongue, you’re in Mala heaven~ The spices weren’t so overpowering that it numbed your tongue. You could definitely taste all the complex flavors of the malatang. Try the cabbage in the malatang with the walnut shrimp. It’s the perfect combo.

We used to frequent this place for dumplings before Hunan Garden took over. I’m actually a bit sad that that place is gone but Hunan Garden more than makes up for its absence. The food here is just delicious. We had the Hakka Stir-fried Eggplant, Salt and Pepper Squid, and the Taiwanese Stir-fried Noodles with Pork and all of those dishes were delicious. I am looking forward to trying the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, and of course, that’s another excuse to come back to this place.

Moved here from New York City eight months ago looking for a legitimate Taiwanese beef noodle and beef “burrito.” This place was legit. Despite Hunan style it’s staff/owner is probably Taiwanese my guess. It’s my go to place.

The restaurant is clean and bright! Very well organized. Easy to find parking. The food was absolutely amazing! If you like spicy, definitely try the dry pot dishes! For the non-spicy folks, the Taiwanese three cup chicken and tofu with crab meat and roe are my favorite. And kids would love the honey walnut prawns, very sweet!

I can’t understand the overall ratings of this place. Everything was fine until we had our food. The food was extremely salty. If all of these ratings are true, we must have been somethin wrong to them that they do not wish us to visit them again by serving extremely salty food. We tried as hard as we can to continue trying, but eventually giving up leaving more than a half of food left. People were enjoying food and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really good and friendly, except our food.
