Founded in 1983, Byblos Mediterranean Restaurant is the oldest landmark of international entertainment in Southern California. Throughout the years, we have catered to over 10.000 parties and events, from office lunches, concerts, workshops, to birthdays, engagements and wedding parties.
Our venue is well known to those who appreciate live music entertainment, comedy shows, belly dance shows and workshops.
When we say that our food is sourced from the most authentic recipes, we mean what we say. Byblos Mediterranean Restaurant is named after the ancient Phoenician city in Mount Lebanon, home to the first fishermen community and filled with a prosperous historical legacy.

We went for the mothers day special, mothers would enter free of charge and regular cover for guys ($10) as usual for any regular day, but… i didn’t really like it. The service was good, and the food was ok, but the music… ong, really? The salsa dancing floor was so small, but, it wouldn’t matter cause there’s barely any people dancing, and the reason i think it is the selection of music from the dj, omg what’s up with that music!??!! The worst of the worst. Two or three bachatas that are kind of so so and the worst selection of salsa dancing music ever! We didn’t even stay long, danced about 4 or 5 sorry songs and left. The space for sitting and tables is big but, as I said before, the dancing floor is so tiny. I do not recommend, especially if you like dancing real good salsa music, this is not the place. I didn’t recognize many of the songs, and trust me, i know about salsa songs…

I was an employee here til they started stealing my tips. They do not follow cleanliness standards across the restaurant and break many laws including on smoking and dining in the same establishment. Stay away!

Bar tender didn’t know how to make a Moscow mule even after me taking him what’s in it so i settled for a redbull and vodka. I got two of them and they came out to 32 dollars which is a rip off. Kitchen wasn’t ready to open when we were sat so we were told it would be 30 minutes for our food. Waited almost an hour before asking the server where it was and he admitted the kitchen forgot, not sure how because we were literally the only ones who ordered food.

Do you like DJs that blast static because they don’t know what they are doing, overpriced drinks and underpriced hookers? Then this place is the place for you .. made the horrible mistake of going to this place but left immediately after the “bus” showed up.

The service was terrible and slow. I specifically told them multiple times what I wanted and even pointed to pictures and they still brought out all the wrong foods. My gf got a falafel plate and they brought out the appetizer and when questioned on this the waiter said “I know what’s in the menu and this is all we have” and “that’s all we can do” 3x until I showed them the exact picture on their menu again where it specially says falafel plate and he just walked off to finally bring it. I also asked for chicken shawarma with fries and they brought it with rice. When I questioned them on this, they asked me 3-4 times if I was sure as if I was trying to lie and give them a hard time. I even got a beer and they gave it to another table as people touched it and took it back and brought it to me. That does not seem sanitary at all.

Absolutely disappointing. I came for the show and dinner on my 47th birthday. Arrived on time per my reservation.. come to find out the show was canceled. They stated ALL the dancers did not show up in which sounded pretty sketchy. The restaurant was empty and so dull. It ruined my whole night and my birthday. The security guard acted like he did not care which I think was rude.
