Dine-In or Take-Out wood fired pizza. Roots Wood Fire sales wood fired pizzas made from fresh local ingredients fueled by local hardwood (maple, plum apple, cherry, and occasional oak). The dough is made in-house with un-bleached wheat flour and my 34-year-old sour dough starter and then fermented for 48 hours. Tomato sauce is made from scratch and cooked low and slow for six hours. We also serve small plates, dairy free, and gluten free options.

Visiting from California and after reading the reviews we had to see if they were truly worthy of all the stars. So we arrived a bit early and actually waited 30min for them to open. The wait was well worth it. I don’t normally leave reviews However, this place deserves 10 stars as far as I’m concerned. The crust was one of, if not the best I’ve had and the owners were very kind, so thank you for a great experience.

Another CDA gem we found using Google reviews. Seems like more than a few amazing spots are not in downtown, like this one. 5 minute car drive, so worth it. Two very friendly people were working, maybe the owners? Very helpful with menu items, explaining options. 10″ was perfect size for me personally, my wife also had one. I had the typical combo, she had a make your own with caramelized onion cream sauce which was very very good. My pizza was cooked perfectly in the wood fire oven, top notch. Chain restaurants pizza sauce typically gives me heartburn, not this place. Everything tasted fresh, washed it down with an NA IPA served in a pint glass. (Really appreciate this option, very thoughtful for those with allergies!) 100% would return, looking forward to bringing the kids next time. Tables inside for dine in. You will not regret this pizza!

Very fresh pizza! The pizza was really good. It takes longer to get your pizza but they cook it fresh for you. There is some parking available. There are also tables inside for you to eat. I believe you can order online.

I’ve been meaning to swing by here since they opened. I finally got the chance this past Friday. It’s a husband and wife crew who do it all. As good as the food is, they could look for a bigger place and hire a staff. That’s neither here nor there because the pizza is sooooooo good I don’t care how I get it as long as I do!
