Love this place. It’s awesome being able to go to a bar and get great food without the panic of wondering what they have that’s vegan. The place is cozy and really nice to hang out at. It’s the kinda place I could totally see bringing like 10 friends to. Prices are great also, everything on the menu is very reasonable, especially for how great the food is. Will definitely be coming back regularly

This place has a fun vibe. You order all your drinks and food at the bar. Everything is 100% plant based and delicious. I suggest the cheese fries and hush puppies.

Awesome spot! Very cool interior decor and low key, laid back atmosphere. Huge drink menu with non alcoholic options. Food was great as well; don’t typically enjoy meat alternatives however the Burger Bob was great! Soft pretzels was a great appetizer. Highly recommend checking this place out.

When one door closes, another one opens. With some of the old Whig employees and regulars in attendance. The official opening of the Hoot is here. Same great drinks and service as the Whig but with new updated surroundings. I haven’t been here since it was the Kraken. This will be Columbia’s new it spot. I know a lot of people wanted some kind of burger to transfer to this spot, but it’s vegan, baby. My veg-fil-a made it, though. That was my favorite sandwich from the Whig. I’m so excited that this tradition continues in some form. Best staff, best customers, best period. I guarantee they won’t build some stupid hotel on this site for a while. It’ll be a Hoot for real

This place has it all. Great food. Great drinks. Fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. I have been there several times already and have not been disappointed. The hoot sandwich is my favorite so far but really everything I’ve tried is good.

Absolutely loved our first experience! Got the nachos and my husband who is not vegan could not stop eating them! They were delicious! Yummy cocktails, great local beers… can’t wait to go back! Great atmosphere!
