I’ve eaten here twice in a week! The fish tibs aren’t on the menu but are available for pescatarians like us. That and a vegetarian combo is perfect for two. Staff is welcoming and friendly, and the place is clean and spacious. The front looks closed but isn’t!! Come to Lake City and try this for yourself — then go get ice cream at Lil Tiger for dessert!

WOW. Man. So good. We eat here once a week, always getting the veggie combo. So, so good. It’s a small, family-run restaurant so when it’s busy, you might wait a little longer for your food or for the check. The atmosphere is unusual but for lovers of Ethiopian culture and music, it’s perfect. And the food!! So good!

Do yourself a solid favor and eat here. I went with 4 people and ordered the veggie combo and meat combo and it was plenty to feed 4. Service was outstanding and drinks were delicious. The food was outstanding and I will definitely be back.

Fantastic friendly service, and great food. We got the meat combo and it was way bigger than at other restaurants – probably 9-10 dishes on the combo. Our server was incredibly friendly and explained to us all the different Ethiopian beers he had in stock. We ended up drinking his family’s homemade tej honey wine which was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I went here with a group of 12 people and the host, TK, was stellar! We devoured the zilzil tibs, key wot and vegetable combo! Absolutely delicious! We scraped off all the savory sauce of the key wot! No food to waste! We also had tej, a honey wine traditional to Eritrea and Ethiopia. It was perfectly smooth and sweet! Perfect drink to pair our feast with. Thank you TK for your amazing service and experience and the delicious food! Definitely will be back!
