Used to go alot before as a child but haven’t been in forever I know my mom loves their tortillas so decided to stop by however fresh tortillas are made on Saturdays but food is still delicious and their chips are great especially with a homemade salsa

I was referred here by a friend. I came in to try the tamales but I was too late. You have to come in early or pre order. My wife and I decided to eat here anyway. She ordered carne asade. She said it was a 3 out of 5. I tried it and agree. Maybe it was on off day but they were barely ok. I ordered a large bowl of pozole and loved it. Big bowl, big chunks of meat, perfectly spiced and seasoned. Tortillas were good, our server was nice and sociable. It’s a small place that reminds of me of when we I was young and when we used to visit the border area. I would visit regularly if I lived closer but will definitely come back if I am nearby.

Large chunks of dry stringy meat, is not what I was looking for, but that’s what I got.

My sister and I came here after church and we got the Pozole and Menudo and it was delicious! It’s been a really long time since I’ve tasted real home cooking. I know someone’s abuela was back there whippin’ this up! It was so good! The lady who was serving us was doing an AWESOME job at attending all the tables. She checked on us regularly. I whispered to my sister “dang she’s good”. Lol. It’s a pretty small place but don’t let that discourage you from going in and trying some good food (don’t get me started on the home made tortillas, chef’s kiss). Definitely coming back again.

Food was delicious. You can’t change the plates. Everything is and extra charge.

This is a small place that has great tamales. It’s best to call in your order or you take the chance of not getting any. The tamales go very fast and have very good flavor. They are best fresh but are very good if warmed up a day or two later as well. They also sell Mexican sweets and other items like pottery, hand painted kiln type drinking cups, and knick knacks.

Serving size not worth the price. I’ve definitely had better local authentic. Just add a little of your own homemade salsa, cheese and lime and it’s just okay food. Their salsa was very watery with little flavor
