Everything was great. Food was hot and looked delicious. Lots of options. I got Buddha’s delight. The tofu was very good in the sauce and lots of veggies. The chicken lo mein also had good sauce and variety of veggies. The sweet and sour chicken was also good. Not over cooked and lots of sauce!

After extensive research I have determined that this is the best Chinese takeout place in Bloomington. Since Fong’s closed I was forced to find a new source for dangerously salty, heavily seasoned Chinese food. This is the place. I have yet to find something that I didn’t like, but the lemon chicken was borderline. I recommend the Mongolian beef, Hunan lamb, Hunan chicken and pork lo mein. You can’t miss.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hunan Restaurant, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Bloomington. On a Tuesday afternoon, when my usual go-to spot (Mandarin kitchen) was closed, my son was craving his favorite dish, salt and pepper squid. There food is phenomenal like back in the days traditional food! The people give great customer service. There chicken egg rolls are super delicious. I like the beef fried rice. I was so glad, I found a place again when I can enjoy asian cuisine and have great customer service. Rare these days! The restaurant is very nice inside as well. Check them out!!

Always friendly and nice. They go above and beyond for their guests. The food is always wonderful!! 100% would recommend for their lunch all you can eat, and their normal dishes (dinner times). I’ve eaten there over 5 times just this year.

Wow! Super super place. If you are looking for a quick lunch, good food and polite and friendly staff, this is your place. I have been here five times in the last couple weeks. They have a lunch special for $11.99 that includes soup, side, full meal and almond cookies. You leave FULL. For less of a price than a fast food chain. The food is fresh and HOT. I have tried many things and my favorite is the green bean chicken. It’s not on their lunch menu, but it’s delicious. The staff is also extremely attentive and quick. This is extremely rare. I love this little place and will keep coming back to support a local business.
