We went for early dinner on Friday. The ambience was great and the staffs were nice. It wasn’t busy as we were there quite early. Got a nice seat behind the aquarium and kids enjoyed watching different fishes. We ordered fried calamari for appetizer and that was really good with the sauce it came. We finished it as soon as it was on the table. Kids ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce and shrimp basket. We ordered 1lb head off shrimp with Cajun fire and added broccoli and corn. We were disappointed with Cajun but later the server mentioned we should have tried the hook special as it came with all the spices , so we will have to give it another try. The shrimp basket was good but kids did not like the spaghetti, as it was soggy. But we will give another try, than I will update my review again.

Ahoy! Hook and Reel definitely caught me by surprise. I ordered the calamari, hush puppies and fried flounder. The food was hot, fresh, and filling, in addition to being tasty! The wait staff were courteous and attentive. They even sent us on our way with to-go drinks Definitely will be back, Tally Ho!

Husband and I were out shopping and decided to come here for dinner. I’m so glad we did. Atmosphere was great, friendly staff, and our waitress Amanda was just super sweet. Love the fact that the potatoes are regular size unlike some other places. My husband ordered extra potatoes in his meal and couldn’t eat all of them. I also love the fact that I could order broccoli and it’s steamed with everything else. Delicious is all I can say. More than enough food to eat, I ended up bringing home half of mine. I typed it off with a red sangria that was super delicious. We will be back again.

My guy and I came here yesterday 04/05/2023 around 7:30pm. Our waiter was very nice. However, that was about it. The food was TERRIBLE!!! Like really bad. The seasoning in the bags was complete water, soggy, and just bland. A bag priced for $53 that I wouldn’t have paid more then $4.99 for. They give you a lot of food but only if it was tasteful. I ordered the crab leg cluster, head off shrimp, and sausage (it comes with corn and potatoes). Everything in the bag was nasty. My guy ordered the shrimp bag with broccoli. He liked the broccoli and that was it. The bartender made me a frozen margarita that came pouring all down the cup, over filled, making a mess, with it getting all over the table. Our waiter was nice but this would have been the perfect opportunity for her to show she knows how to problem solve. After complaining to her twice and she said nor did anything, I sent the drink back. For one, because it was super messy. For two, the ice chunks where so big, I couldn’t even drink it through the straw. The party behind us was complaining also and they where celebrating a birthday (poor things). I would never return back here, even if it was free. The most disgusting seafood I’ve ever had in my life. I’m normally the person who grants everyone grace. This experience was very bad. I literally ate one sausage, one potato, one shrimp out of my entire bag and trashes the rest.

This is the worst Hook & Reel we’ve ever been to! This is my husband’s favorite seafood chain and since we do not have them in our city, we always stop when we come across one during our travels. Neither the food or service were good. The shrimp was over cooked, the potatoes were undercooked, the corn was mush, and the crab lacked any flavor. Our server was almost nonexistent even though she only had two tables to wait on. (There were literally two parties I the entire restaurant.) We got one drink refill and had to ask someone to get our server so we could pay our check just to leave. The only real positive I can give is that the restaurant itself was clean. Don’t waste your $$.

My family and I went to Hook and Reel for dinner on yesterday the food and the service was just terrible. It took the waitress a very long time to come to the table. when we asked for a refill on the drinks the waitress gave us one cup of lemonade to split between 3 people. We kept calling the waitress she acted like she did not hear us at all. We told the manager that the seafood was old and had a stale taste she asked us if we ate crawfish before she admitted to it being frozen and not fresh!! She refused to allow us to get something else.she said no refunds or exchanges!! The manager had no compassion at all..we spent over $100.for.old seafood and horrible service. I used to work as a waitress and the customer is always right and I know that if the customer is not happy you can make it right. This place is terrible and I would not recommend it. This is the worst seafood spot ever don’t waist your money!

So.. I have mixed feelings about my experience here. Normally, I do not have an issue paying for premium service and premium food. However, I think that is the issue… although the service was great, and the food was decent, the price we paid for “trash seafood” in what other similar restaurants provide, was just ridiculous. We paid around $230 for what should have been ~$100. The menu system is a clunky, and you are charged every thing that normally comes included for a bag boil. That said, again the food and service was great, but I just cannot recommend the place knowing the pricing model needs adjustments.

Fresh and tasty canjun seafood bar. Just open Ans everything is brand new. They have cute kids menu for coloring with crayon. Snow crab is so fresh and tasty must order. We also tried their chocolate cake and cheesecake, not too sweet we love it.
