We take great pride in our dishes. Not only do we have family favorites like tacos and burritos but we also offer specialties like Scallop Fajitas and Chili Colorado. Originally, I was going to give a 4 star review, because the food and service were quite impressive but the atmosphere was not quite there (music a little too loud, dark inside with a lot of dark-colored moody decor). However, the gnats and flies that kept swarming our food were extremely bothersome and disgusting, we were literally swatting them away every minute. Yes, the doors to outdoor seating were open, but if the bugs are at my table, who can guarantee that they aren’t in the kitchen too? There was an abundance of old food on the booth seats (that I wiped away with my own hands) and under the tables, plus the floor was sticky in spots. This attracts the bugs and there was no deterrent for them, such as a blast of air by the doors to shoo them away. By the end of the meal we were so annoyed by the bugs that we were literally rushing to leave. I first thought the food prices were high but then I saw the portions, huge. Our appetizer of nachos would have easily filled us up if we had been able to finish it before our entrees came 5-ish minutes later, which in my opinion is too fast. I would have liked to enjoy the appetizer first! We might come back in wintertime when the doors to outdoor seating are closed, but until then I won’t be revisiting. Last note: when an employee wearing a nice button up and tie (manager? Idk) came to take our plates and asked how everything was, we immediately explained the bug issue. He excused it by saying the doors are open, “that’s why.” I just said “it’s gross to have bugs flying sround my food while I try to enjoy my meal.”. I really felt like he ignored me, as he didn’t respond to me and only responded to my husband who repeated my words. Google won’t let me post the video of 4 gnats flying around my plate.

Excellent music, food, and atmosphere. we got table side guacamole twice where they make it in front of you. It was fresh and excellent tasting! We have also enjoyed all the entrees that we have gotten here. We had Tampiquena Roca Steak which was well prepared with a nice cheese enchilada on the side. Excellent tasting sauces went with this as well. The margaritas were great too. Would recommend going here for a fresh Mexican atmosphere and eating experience.

First time here and I got to be honest, they killed it with the service! Food was just as great. Ordered the chicken fajitas and it came out fast. Restaraunt only had a few seats left and watched a table of 6 who sat after me get there food within 10mins. Very pleased with the level of service and food. Last three places I went never refilled my soda drink even after charging $4.00 for a soda. I only gave 4 stars as I want to see how the other food tastes as well. Job well done!

Great atmosphere especially for sitting outside. Flautas and tacos were very good. Only issue was receiving our appetizer with the main dishes. Especially after asking them not to.

Went there for the first time on my birthday. I found out that morning that my oldest brother died. Since he knew that I always have Mexican food for my birthday. My wife took me here. Man, I am so glad she did. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. Thank you for making a very sad day a little bit better.

I’m Texan and yet, I feel like I’ve never had Mexican food until today! That’s how good everything was! Not only that but the service was truly outstanding! Miguel was our server and he passionately explained the types of mezcal and the regions where some of the food items we had selected were from. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very comfortable as well. So much so that with the food coma I definitely got myself into with the deliciousness, I so could have enjoyed a nap in that booth as it was so comfy! Will be coming back for sure!

Great food got the ribeye steak tacos and so did my girlfriend I also I got the moradita and it was a great drink I even got the 32 ounce because of how good the flavor of it was the mezcal had a great smoky taste I loved it . Can’t wait to go back and try more things

I came in for happy hour and my bartender tawny she’s very nice very sweet and gave great service. The food here was so so I got the carne asada steak with shrimp I do not recommend it. It was overcooked in the shrimp component was not good. I also got the guacamole appetizer and that was so so. I would not order either one again. The drinks are great and again the service is on point and five star.

Trying out area Mexican restaurants, and this one came up as a good date night place. We had a good experience in a VERY active and popular bar/restaurant. Outdoor and indoor service, fresh corn tortillas made while you watch, along with the more common guacamole. Steak and seafood were both fresh and well prepared, and salsas offered were complex. Mescal and margaritas topped it off. Manuel, our waiter, was fun and attentive. Red sauce and green sauce passed the taste test!

The service was excellent, comfortable seating, and the food was amazing compared to its price. Even the bathrooms are amazing with calmly flowing sinks instead of pressurized water blowing off soap. 100% would recommend.
