JenChans is a wonderful family oriented place to go out to eat! They use fresh seasonal ingredients and you can truly taste the difference! The staff was very knowledgeable. I recommend the Mongolian beef and bok choy~I only wish the serving size was slightly bigger.

Went for brunch this past weekend and wasn’t disappointed. The small plate offerings were fantastic and each plate hit a different craving. A personal favorite from the experience is hard to choose since I would order each of these again without hesitation.

2nd time I have dined here for lunch and always blown away!! Only open during the week for lunch on Fridays and the food is amazing!! We need to give them more lunch service since it has been empty the 2 times I have been for lunch but don’t walk- run over here!! The sesame boiled peanuts are literally the best I have ever had – so flavorful and not too salty like a lot of boiled peanuts can be!! Don’t get me started on the Mongolian beef Philly cheesesteak- so so good! I opted for the veggie side instead of fries and it was great!

Okay… I know I might be late on this restaurant. But I have been twice already! And you must try the Mongolia beef cheesestake and add mushrooms if you eat them! Then try the sesame street fries and the vitetnamese pork egg rolls!! And the Crispy Asian wings ALL ARE delicious! Never had to wait for sitting. outside eating, I recommend you can see the locals. Very friendly neighborhood.

Food was really good. I’ve been here a few times before, and I’ve always loved my meal. This time, they’re testing a new Dim Sum style method of serving the food for brunch! They haven’t figured it out yet, so it’s a little chaotic. The food is still excellent, and I’m sure they’ll get it down soon! To JenChan’s: I would recommend not coming around with food and just stick to ordering from the Dim Sum paper menu.

This place has some of the best Asian food south of Korea town. We went here on a spontaneous date night and enjoyed dumplings, the Vietnamese bowl, curry, homemade ice cream sandwiches and beers on tap. The weather was gorgeous so the windows were open with a lovely view of the streets of Cabbagetown. Very friendly wait staff too.

Love love the food here. The pizza with chili crisp is fantastic, as is their homemade sesame hot sauce. We bought some to eat at home and it’s literally good with everything. Keep forgetting to try other things on the menu besides the pizza, because we get too excited and just NEED to order it, but we will be back to try it all. We such a nice time here! We sat outside, and the environment and street were a lot like New Orleans. The staff was attentive and very friendly and charming even though they were very busy. My husband had the Mongolian Beef Philly and LOVED it. He’s not usually that expressive about food, but he went on and on about it. I was happy for the gluten free pizza option. We are rarely in Cabbagetown, but will be back to JenChan’s!
