Huge market compared to the Manitowoc location, food is delicious, and made to order. Tortas, tacos, burritos, tostadas and a couple specials. We’ve eaten at several locations around WI, this was our first visit to the Fond Du Lac location. Would come back when we pass through.

I travel for work so I avoid the chains. I like got the tacos. Very good. Nice hot sauce. They are not skimpy on the neat. It’s inside the store. Worth a try if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Skip Taco Johns/Bell and go here where it’s actually authentic AND you’re supporting local business. Even the “American” tacos are totally Mexican. While the decor needs some work, the grocery area has a better selection than any other Mexican place in town. This is the real deal. Will definitely be back!

I got the asada Mexican style. The corn tortillas are warmed up which is great. They ask if I wanted cilantro and of course I said yes. They put a good amount of tender well seasoned steak on each taco. You have your choice of mild or hot sauce. I went hot. When I bit into the first one I knew I’d be going back. On the second one I added the lime, which I had never done before, and it kicked it up 3 more notches.

I ordered a steak burrito with no Rice or Beans with extra steak. What did they do. They put Rice in it with no extra steak. And the tortilla was falling apart when I bit into it. I’m glad I’m not Allergic to rice. ( Law suit) pay more attention to what people order. My dog had a good lunch. It looked like they put extra rice in it.

Went with my boyfriend earlier. He order the tacos and I got the burrito. His tasted so awful he had to throw them out where as I order the burrito with everything on it. I got meat, beans, cheese and lettuce on it…… That’s not everything…… Tasted very bland and thought Taco Bell could have done a way better job.

I have lived in Tokyo and in Denver which offers lots of different cultural food options. I moved back due to COVID, and the cost of living. FDL culturally hasn’t changed much in choices of food. So I was Super excited when I saw Fast Taco while driving buy. I walked in to check it out, and thought immediately authentic Mexican in Fondy no way! The front part is the grocery store, and the restaurant is in the back. Its a large space. You can smell the food cooking which is really nice! I ordered the #1 taco, rice, and beans. They warm up the corn tortilla to bring out the flavor which was great! I love Mexican rice, and give there’s two thumbs up! I got asada, a healthy portion, but it was dry, and a little over cooked. Hopefully next time I go back its more juicy, and can update my quote to 5 stars!
