Food is fantastic, has been ever since I used to come here in college days. They’ve build a nice little deck out front w fire pits since then. It’s not a fancy restaurant so the service isn’t that level, but they are nice and fun. It’s got a nice dive bar/themed out pizza joint style oh and the gluten free crust is a tasty thin crust.

The wife and I had the Woody’s Waui pie, which is a delicious interpretation of the Hawaiian pizza. Really good. The sauce was great. Add the 1L Firestone beer that was ice cold, and you have a winning combination

I worked here way back during my UCSB days and recently returned for the nostalgia while passing through town. It’s damn good pizza, the toppings are higher quality than the norm, and the gluten free options are a nice addition to the menu. This place is still an IV staple.

To the shift lead who closed or was present around 10:30 pm on 4/20, I want to thank you so much for “believing me” when I politely informed you that my table had received the wrong pizza. We had ordered regular crust for two pizzas and received one wheat and one regular instead. I understand that accidents happen, maybe the somebody else’s pizza was given to us, or maybe the kitchen made a mistake, it’s not a big deal. There were no accusations and no upset, we just wanted to receive what we had asked and paid for. I genuinely do not understand where the attitude that followed came from, but it was incredibly strange and misplaced. The words used were, “Well the whole wheat crusts are kept in the back, so they wouldn’t have gotten mixed up. But if you’re saying that it is whole wheat, then I believe you.” I’d really like to point out that I don’t care about the layout of your kitchen, and I definitely don’t care about your faith in me. I don’t really understand why you proceeded to make me have to justify myself when the presence of both pizzas made the difference in crusts incredibly obvious. The attitude was completely unprofessional and honestly, super weird that a shift lead was using a such condescending approach to let us know that our proper order would be made. Perhaps it was to avoid apologizing for a mistake that we were never upset over in the first place. But if it makes her feel better: I apologize, Woodstock’s representative, for communicating an error that forced you to have to stain yourself by walking into the back and asking the kitchen to remake a large pepperoni pizza with regular crust. I understand that completing basic job tasks can be incredibly frustrating so I don’t even mind that you never said “sorry.”

We ordered a barbecue pizza and the spinach salad. The barbecue bird Pizza is absolutely fantastic. It is our favorite pizza from Woodstock’s whether we are eating it in Santa Cruz or in Santa Barbara. This one could have used a little more sauce and I would have given it five stars.

We ordered Woodstock’s last night and we were quickly reminded why it had been 4 years since we last had it. Maybe we’ll give it a try in another 4 years with the hopes that they finally changed their recipe. Crust is spongy and tastes like cardboard. Sauce tastes like cheap spaghetti sauce and the cheese was not great. The veggie and meat toppings were actually quality, but that doesn’t help much when the foundation of the pizza is terrible. Waste of $. Starting to wonder if the owners have ever tried a real pizza before.

Woodstock’s pizza is delicious. The location is great and inviting. Sports playing on the TV. Beer, cider and kombucha on tap. Went there late Wednesday night at the end of a busy rush. Couldn’t find a clean table or clean forks. We cleared and cleaned the table up ourselves. Overall it was a great meal, though service could have been better.

Great place, staff here are very nice and kind and work very hard! I highly recommend this location to get really dank pizza, it doesn’t even compare to Domino’s or other certain corporations by how quality they put into their food options including their pizza! Highly recommended and I also recommend to be aware that this location gets really busy and packed with students and just people, but mainly students, so set up times maybe or a reservation or something to be able to get in the door. Or I dunno, live your best life.

Fantastic pizza and local beers. The Wildebread was also fab. Thanks to Faith for bringing my dog a cool bowl of water. We had walked 4.5 miles and he was patched and I didn’t even have to ask, she just appeared with the bowl for him. Loved this lunch. Thanks again Faith.
