I was checking out the town of Ketchum Sunday 7/9/2023 and wanting to sample the local fares, I happened upon Lefty’s. I am so glad that I did! It’s a quaint little joint at the foot of a ski slope, and it was quite busy which I read as a good sign. Although I had to stand in line waiting to order, the staff was doing their best to move things along. I noticed that the special was elk burgers, and when it was my turn to order, that’s what I chose. As a side I chose the “monkeys” which are spiced potato slices, like a waffle fry. I also chose bleu cheese for the burger which was the best choice I could have made. The order was ready in a short time, impressive considering the volume of food the cook was dealing with. The burger was absolutely delicious, the bleu cheese combined with fresh elk, made for an incredible savory experience, no condiments were needed and the burger was done to the best possible consistency combining flavors and retaining the natural juiciness yet not being over or undercooked. The burger’s bun was fresh, light, and wonderful. The monkeys were also spot on, not greasy, not dry, and spiced just right. I won’t pass through Ketchum again without stopping in and I look forward to my next visit. My apologies for the food pic, it does not portray the burger as well as it should have. I will fix that on my next visit!

Came here for lunch on our honeymoon and it was fantastic! We got the chicken pesto burger and the Bacon Blue burger with monkey fries and onion rings and it was fantastic! Fun place to go and great food.

Lefty’s is a wonderful spot during the spring and summer to enjoy outside seating, whether on the deck or patio. Lefty’s staff is hard working and has their patrons on mind. Inside seating will allow you to enjoy many sports to watch on their many T.V.’s . Inside is full of character and a casual atmosphere. A well known establishment for a ski town and a menu with a lot to offer with reasonable prices. I nice spot to meet friends, or a family get together as well as dog friendly. Beautiful scenery of the town area and a good spot to just relax to take it in.

First time in the area and decided to eat someplace off the beaten path. Lefty’s did not disappoint. The onion rings and chicken wings were great! Elk burger was good, a little overcooked, but good. Recommend not eating by road, maybe seats on deck would have been a better choice. Staff were awesome and very service oriented.

If you are hungry and want a beer and looking for no frills, this is the place to go. I had never been to Ketchum before and was exploring the area on foot and found this place on Google maps. I got there at opening and ordered Lefty’s Club with monkey fries (seasoned fries) and a Stella. It was just what I needed. I then realized that the place was super popular; a stream of people developed for over an hour for their lunch rush.

This is a pretty cool place to stop and eat. It’s a bar and grill, so you can expect to grab your favorite drink, play some darts, pool, or an arcade and then grab a wonderful hamburger. They have salads as well. You might call it a dive bar/grill. The outside seating was super ideal. Ketchum has fantastic evening weather, often. The patio was large and had a lot of options. The burger I had tasted amazing. The bun is homemade. Make sure to get the monkey fries. Sliced potatoes with a blend of spices. Just perfect. Nothing fancy here, just casual. I’d eat here again.

Food is very mediocre nothing to go out of your way to get. My burger was dry & the fries were soggy. The service was SUPER slow at 3pm in the afternoon. The gal that took our order & the guy that brought our food over were nice.
