I absolutely LOVE Mukase! I travel far distance to this restaurant and it’s definitely worth it. I’ve been a customer for a little over 2.5 years and they never disappoint! The Bolingbrook location has definitely cut my travel time down so the satisfaction is even greater. Great customer service always! My fave dish is Wakkye w/fish☺️

Every meal taste like it was cooked with Love. The spice level is hot just like we like it. The ordering process online or on the phone is smooth and easy. My food is always hot and ready for my family to enjoy.

Bought waayke and all 3 orders had fish with all the scales on it, I have never ordered fish where the scales were not removed I had goose bumps when I bit into one. Very Unhygienic

Food was good the spinach stew was a little salty but not bad. But most importantly the owner was extremely rude food took forever and the owner came out the back eye contact she couldn’t speak say hello it was our first visit. The minute an African woman walked in she came to the front spoke and asked if it was her first time and she greeted her. The gentleman in the front was the best part had he not been there probably would have walked out he was the only one nice. Then when you get ready to pay Zelle or cash no one tells you before you order. I would not recommend

I’m glad I ignored some of the reviews on here because I thought the food was absolutely delicious. I got the plantains and the Okra with beef and Fufu. This was my first time ever trying African food and I loved it! What I ordered was a little on the spicy side but it was worth the pain and I would order it again.

My daughter suggested I try it after she raved about it. She had fufu and egusi with beef. I opted for the Motherland Combo with goat, spinach, plantains and white rice. The spinach was excellent! The plantains were carmelized to perfection and the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Everything was excellent. Service was timely, portions were enough for two meals. The food was flavorful and freshly prepared, still hot even after driving home. They also give a cash discount (there is a 3.99% charge on cards). I will most definitely dine here again to try more items on their menu!

This is the most useless restaurant ever. They are criminals posing as food vendors. I ordered online for pickup, only to get to the store and was told they didn’t open. I called the lady with the order number and she became belligerent. Apparently some people think they can get away with being condescending and rude and expect that it won’t reflect on their business. Do business with these people at your detriment.

First time eating at this restaurant and I must say my visit here was beautiful. Nice area and the service was immaculate; quick and simple. I love it here and I’m going to continue coming back for this amazing African culture food. The lady serving me was very kind, sweet n lovely indeed(:

I walked into this restaurant yesterday and I felt very unwelcomed. The lady taking my order was very condescending and nasty. She let me order a whole entire meal and informed me that they only except cash or zelle? I felt that she really didn’t want me there. And mind you this would have been my first time tasting African food as an African American person. My experience was horrible and I don’t think that I will per sue my adventure of Tasting African food for the first time.
