Our family were on our way back to Atlanta from Branson and found this restaurant on the way. Having tasted many homemade Filipinos food in Atlanta and tried many restaurants in Atlanta and Honolulu, which are known for high quality of food, Whilma’s definitely amazed us. We stopped by after lunch rush so the restaurant were emptied BUT the server were attentive and the food were amazing! We ordered hot tea, pork lumpia (best one we ever had), siopao (warm and delicious..not too sweet like some we’ve had at others), Pork Adobo (good and not too sweet like other’s), Tapsilog (just amazing), Pork Sinigan (the best we’ve ever had….Just the right spice and the authentic tamarind sauce can be taste by the fragrant). While we were already full, we also tried the fried banana and the Halo Halo for dessert. Fried banana is good (the banana was a bit ripe), Halo Halo is good (could have more fruit) BUT the green dried sticky rice flakes added surprise taste. Not sure if we will ever get to stop by again but we hope our review will bring Whilma’s more business from passerby travelers who happens to stumble through Searcy. Thank you for the amazing experience for our family. Thank you for all that you do to bring a piece of the Philippine to Searcy and definitely the effort of endless drive to far away cities to purchase ingredients to make the dishes for your customers. Paalam

Great food…a lot of other diners were being served just one dish at a time so expect to be leisurely here. Lovely and unexpected place.

The fried dumplings was good. The main dishes were tasteless and my creamy sauce was nothing but 95%water. The chicken in my water sauce was DRY. The rice was supposed to be garlic rice and it absolutely had NO FLAVOR. Service was VERY slow, there was 2 customers us and a lady that came in about 15 after us.

The rice tasted like you were eating right out of the bag. It was supposed to have been garlic rice. The fried dumpings were good. The seasoning on the beef was gritty. The price was high for the portion that you got. I probably won’t try again.

This is a destination restaurant which is worth it when you want authentic Filipino dishes. We love the pancit canton and the lemon pork grilled to perfection. The tapsilog is so delicious with the beef very well marinated together with the garlic fried rice. The halo- halo has just the right amount of sweetness.

Our first time to eat at Whilma’s, suggested by co-worker and others. My husband and I were hangry after each had hectic work days. But YES-> Whilma’s dishes ARE as amazing as others rave! Dish/food presentation is like a fine, upscale restaurant. The tables were marked sanitized when we walked in. Server wore a mask. All appeared to be orderly and clean. In pic, Pancit Canton, Chicken, mild heat, minus red/green peppers. Pancit Canton had so many flavors it was hard to stop eating! We also ordered Tapsilog, which the marinated pork was a delight like nothing I tasted before. We enjoyed Tapsilog so much, we started eating b/f remembering to take pic. The garlic rice Lumpia taste is hard to describe but you want to grab another and another after eating one! (So addicting!) Also in pic, the Yellow Curry dish was also very tasty setting the bar high! My husband ate every morsel! The Fried Dumplings were a perfect start of introduction of the flavor variations for meal. The sauces and spice levels were customizable to preference. The young man who was the server was very knowledgeable about all sauces, spices, and dishes. We were able to order in confidence with no issue after brief visit. The atmosphere was casual, small town diner but the food taste and food presentation was very fine, definitely upscale. I am on a low carb, no sugar diet as many others I know… I have no idea how many sodium, carbs, fiber, sugars, protein grams that we ate b/c nutrition info is not listed; however, this will def be one of top pics on my cheat meal list! Be aware that hours end earlier. 11am to 7pm (seven!). Closed Sunday, Monday.

When I came to Whilma’s, I didn’t know what to get. Then I asked a waiter and they were very helpful, and they helped me pick out some tapsilog and lumpia. I would definitely eat here again.
