We believe when you order and sandwich, you should get a sandwich with plenty of meat.. not a salad! Our sandwiches are piled high, so you won’t leave our place hungry! We also believe in serving fresh, health-conscious ingredients. Our salads are made with fresh greens and all of our soups and chicken salads are made in-house. The fish tacos were PHENOMENAL and the broccoli salad was so fresh. The breakfast was hot and fresh and the French toast was perfection. Great service, attentive manager and clean dining room and restroom. 10/10 we will be coming here every time I come to Longview.

This is a great place for breakfast! The employees are all kind and very helpful. They have a large selection on their breakfast menu. I got the French toast with eggs and seasoned potatoes and I chose sausage as my protein. The portions were huge, I took home half of my food because I was so full. My husband got the same thing as me only he got the pancake stack. The pancakes are huge. Honestly I never would have thought of going to a restaurant named Roost to eat breakfast, but I’m so glad we did.

We just moved in the Longview area from Austin and found this restaurant on Google. Now it will be our new favorite sandwich places and we can’t wait to try the breakfast next! The owner was there on a Saturday and was the one to take our order and so super sweet! When we told her we were new to the area she was very welcoming, asked us what are some things we like and gave us mouth watering suggestions. Upon trying the generous portions, we deemed this restaurant an official go to for my husband and I. Thanks so much, Roost! See you soon.

We love this place! Such good food, and a fun place to eat. Unfortunately part of our take out order got mixed up and I called about it and nothing was done about it. Just said sorry and hung up ♀️ service for that could’ve been better. But overall I recommend this place.

Our first visit to the Roost was for breakfast. Hubby had the full breakfast, eggs, sausage, potatoes and pancakes and said it was great. I opted to try a trio of chicken salads and was not disappointed. The scoops were very generous and I brought half home with me.

UPDATE 8/8/2022: We were back in town visiting for my father-in-law’s 82nd birthday and dropped into Roost for lunch Monday. Service and attitude was still excellent from all the staff, and the food was still great. This time I tried the JALAPEÑO BACON GRILLED CHEESE sandwich and it was excellent. Not spicy, but with just a little kick from the fresh jalapeno cut up onto it. The fruit side was perfect and very fresh. The Community iced tea they serve is just outstanding. Another great visit!
