I am from New York, my wife really wanted the visit this town because she read about it in a Steven King book. When we got there we were hungry, we found this pizza shop, and thought (well we will try it!). The help saw the New York license plates, and thought ( will we be able to live up to there expectations?) My wife and I have 2 totally different views on what a good pizza is. We have never found a pizza shop that we can agree on. Until now! To the owners surprise and ours, we both loved there pizza. We would highly recommend to anyone local or traveling to stop in and try there pizza. We also had there chicken wings. They were a little costly, and a little small. But very tasty, which made the price not so bad after all. Thank you for a great lunch on travels. We you you guys well.

I have had their food before. It was really good. Definately not worth letting the man at the front be rude to me and my young grandchildren. The man was upset because a 7 year old and 5 year old didnt know what they wanted within 20 seconds. Told us what he was bringing them and that he “didn’t have time for this”. I lost my appetite and we took our 120 dollars and spent it at a more friendly, family oriented, great customer service place called SAM AND LOUIE’S.

This place used to be good. At least 3 restaurants have been in this building before Village Pizza that have provided quick and friendly service. The owners of Village Pizza do not care about that. I ordered a large pizza from there 30 mins in advance and I received it 10-15 minutes after arriving at the store. These people are not the kind of people that should run a restaurant, because they aren’t the type of people that don’t deserve your money. If you want quality food in hemingford, visit anywhere else. Because they won’t make it a chore to order your food.

EPH 4:29 So I need to leave a factual review. My daughter had to use the bathroom on a long highway with nothing around. This pizza place was the only business we could find. The lady was very rude and very ruff. She told me I could take my kid around the corner to the gas station. I am grateful we got the use the restroom but the attitude was not needed. I was going to actually stop and eat but the lady of this establishment has an attitude problem. I was with a family of 5 and due to the snide remark when I entered you lost potential customers. Had the response been sure go ahead I would actually stopped to eat. Thank you for a clean bathroom but drop the attitude it is unattractive.

It is a small town family restaurant so the basic etiquette of “no bathrooms for nonpaying customers” is expected but they do have a sign. There is a gas station literally less than a block away… I just want to clear up that these people went above and beyond to make customers happy. They do take a while to prepare food but being one of the only places to eat in a 20mi radius can do that to you. Nonetheless the food was great and the people were so kind.

Excellent service with great options for this spot off the beaten path. Cauliflower crust! Good cheese used, great dough (regular and GF), good toppings, and plenty of options to cater to various diets. Great spot to choose if traveling anywhere through western Nebraska!
