I’ve been here several times. The first was at a function, and the food was delicious. I was invited to dinner and my meal was ok. The last time was lunch with a friend, and we both agreed our meal was not hitting. Consistency may be a problem, IMO. Maybe the chefs aren’t on the same page? They should work on that. Otherwise, a nice clean atmosphere including restroom. The function hall and outdoor seating are very nice and the cocktails are really good.

I went to the Pearl with my Father and sister and sister-in-law on Father’s day for lunch. The owner came to our table to introduce herself and was so kind. The food was delicious and atmosphere is great. I had the cacoila sandwich and it was amazing! 5 stars all around and I will definitely come back again!

We had a very good experience at The Pearl. The service was reality good. People were friendly. Waitress was attentive. Food quality was excellent. Had the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. I had the Polvo a Chef ( grilled octopus) and my wife had the Stuffed Scrod. I recommend a visit to this place. You won’t be disappointed.

The place was nice, and clean. We went there for lunch and there weren’t many people so we sat down immediately and they brought out drinks and bread fairly quickly. The waitress was nice and the food was good. Will definitely go back in the future. I believe this place only has street parking so be prepared to pay a meter depending on what time you go.

The food was delicious! The kale soup was total comfort food on a cold day. I also got the shrimp alhinho appetizer (garlic, white wine)it was delicious. Our server handled the lunch crowd by herself and still was plenty attentive and helpful to our table. I loved the atmosphere. Their prices are consistent with other local restaurants, very reasonable. I am from this area and this was my first visit. I will definitely be returning.

The Concept
A definite must stop for Portuguese food in Taunton. The Bifana Sandwich is by far THE BEST I have ever had . Being Portuguese myself we are raised on this food and the Bifana is the best anywhere. I will have to drive into the menu more in the future.
