Great place for foods and drinks and water front venue. My sister lives locally and took us here for dinner on Fri night. Place is definitely busy with host told us of the 1hr 30mins wait for a table without reservation. We decided to get a drink at the bar and wait anyway. Turned out it was only 30 mins wait, which was awesome. Wait staff was friendly, foods came out fast, need a little finesse on the plating since it seems clumsy for the price. Quality of seafoods was on point, which we came for so it wasn’t a huge deal. We went through a seafoods feast and was so happy with tuna tartare, jumbo shrimp cocktails, the horseradish crusted tuna were to die for. Tuna wrap was a little dry side so next time we’d opt for the lobster shrimp roll next time.

Waypoint 622 Restaurant has my original review posted ( prior to COVID & the opening of Waterman’s) as one of the top 4 on their website. Unfortunately my new review is definitely not a positive one. I chose this restaurant for my birthday, on August 8, 2022, because I considered it one of the finest in the area. We always dressed for the celebration, a sports jacket for my husband & I wore a new dress . We expected the usual beautiful tables adorned with candle light, waiters well groomed in black shirts , and a menu with a variety of gourmet meals. It was high end price wise but worth every penny. This experience, what a shock!

Beautiful deck overlooking marina. Great food if a bit pricey. Very attentive greeter/seater. Waiter was RJ and he was great. Kitchen forgot my wife’s tuna on her salad, but otherwise perfect.

They’ve come a long way since the re-opening from COVID. Their bartenders, especially, Jake, is a professional. You will NOT get a “collage”‘martini, margarita or any other mixed drink here. They are made to perfection. So delicious and worth it. And the food is decent. The view is fabulous too! We will be back.

The menu seems limited. And they no longer have a sushi menu, which is a damn shame because it was awesome! I recommend the tuna tartare to start, and the firecracker shrimp. The lobster and shrimp roll is fantastic as well.

i got this recommendation from a friend and was surprised by the results of this restaurant! i went with a group of people and majority of us got the wings, the bbq and buffalo ones, which were some of the best wings i’ve had in a long time. we also got a side of fries as well that were also very good. the service was pretty good as well for a place that was sort of crowded. although, we were able to be sat down as soon as we arrived, at around 5 pm, compared to the time we left, around 6:30-7, and i saw a handful of people waiting for seats. they also had valet parking but our car was very close to the entrance so we didn’t really need it lol. obviously, this place is also right by the water so the view is nice especially if you sit outside. of course, this place is bustling with people so i don’t completely recommend going if you are not comfortable (as i am not but i was luckily with other people), otherwise i definitely recommend checking this out!
