Excellent dining experience! Although we were not staying at the Inn, we had 3 hours of free parking to enjoy dinner and the views from the deck and the fireplaces. It was an upscale, high quality meal well worth the price. The hanger stake was very tender, our waitress said it can be cut with a butter knife and she was right. She was very attentive and helped us pick the perfect deserts for our taste. The atmosphere and views were a major bonus.

Our dinner was wonderful. We made the reservations although the place wasn’t particularly busy until later on (we went at 1630) food was delicious and cooked well, came out hot, server was polite and nice. View was beautiful. Not bad prices for resort prices.

Great service and decent food at the Edison with a wide selection of drink choices. Prices weren’t terrible for a resort, but we also weren’t blown away – it was just okay. The cheese board was also surprisingly spicy! Views were stunning prior to sunset to look out the window. Parking was free for one hour and then $10 per additional hour.

…. was there now the 3rd time. today i checked the bolognese and i have to say it’s not comparable with italy and it is not worth $30. the edison chicken was really good but my recommendation would be: SIGNATURE GRILLED CHEESE with fries and tomato soup! service: i have always the feeling the waitresses are not so happy working there – motivation and general service should be different! but by the end of the day it is a good place to be and there are more options.

Overall Thoughts: Overall, I’d give this location 4.4 stars. The people there were super friendly. The food was very good. The View (if the weather permits you to sit outside) is breathtaking. The bar is well stocked with an assortment of beer, wines, and liquor drinks.

Amazing atmosphere at The Edison in the old Omni Grove Park Inn. If you like mushrooms… then you’ll love the wild mushroom pasta dish. Delicious house made noodles with an impeccable flavor. Might be the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. I’ll be back for that dish and others.

I came in solo for lunch at around 2 pm and had a wonderful table for one with a breath-taking view after driving for about 3.5 hours here from Georgia.

First night dinner for a long weekend trip with my sisters. A late flight meant our 6:45 reservation had to be bumped to 7:30, but that was an easy phone call on the drive in with the Edison staff happy to help.

Wouldn’t be a stay at Grove Park Inn without a few craft beers at Edison! Staff is always super friendly and beer selection features a lot of great local brews. We are in here every day of our stay when we’re there.
