We were on our way to try another new place out in Kirbyville, but on arrival it was closed due to some issues. We had passed by Dane’s which I’ve been wanting to try and I pointed out to my wife how crowded it was at almost 1:00pm! So I told her after we had found the other place closed let’s go back and try Dane’s. I had heard from a friend of mine that the food was very good. So back we went!. We were promptly greeted and seated and were handed menus. The greeter told us our waitress would be right with us to get our drink orders. They had specials also posted on little signs at the tables. The inside was very roomy with plenty of tables and 4 or 5 big screen TV’s with your favorite sports on! The waitress came and we elected to do the burger specials for the day. My wife had the regular homemade burger with cheese and bacon with a sourdough bun that came with FF’s and a drink. I went for the Double meat burger with cheese, bacon, and jalapenos. But mine didn’t come with the sourdough bun. But I had the Fries and a Coke. My wife also ordered their fried green tomatoes to try and they were very good as were our burgers! Our waitress was very helpful and very outgoing. They had two kinds of the fried green tomatoes, regular and extra crispy. She went with the regular based on what the waitress told her and she was right on point with those, but I imagine the extra crispy are really good too! Dane’s is known for their boiled crawfish when they are in season. They also have seafood and other things on their menu. I have heard their fried catfish are very good here too!!! They have nice big roll up doors for when it’s nice and cool outside. This wasn’t that kind of weather as the temps here in East Texas have been running around 105 to almost 110°F for about the last month and we’re all about over it, but it is what it is. There is a really nice ambience to the inside and I’m sure now that we’ve tried it, it won’t be long before we come back to try the seafood!!!

Stopped to eat for first time today. Service was great! We had hamburger and grilled chicken sandwich with fries and both were hot, fresh and delicious. We’ll see back to try other options later.

For the most part everything was great. We’ve had both lunch and dinner. Food has been great. Friendly service. They always have a kid appropriate show on the big tvs.

The food is amazing!!! The Grandma fried green tomatoes was awesome. I ate the fish po’boy and my wife had a grilled shrimp po’boy both was very good. Our waitress was pretty awesome too.

Went and got crawfish on a Saturday night. Let me just say they were some the best crawfish I’ve had in a long time. Top 3. They peel so awesome. Not a dead one in all 15 lbs. The spice is absolutely perfect too. We also got 3 lbs of boiled shrimp which were also really good and just popped out the shell. And I don’t know what they do to the fried pickles but I like it Picasso This dinner was definitely worth the money! Plus the deck was so nice to sit out on, on a nice spring night. Service was also really great. Kept our drinks full.

The food was great. Spicy is not for me and they do spicy well. But I asked if I could have my meal not as spicy and they did hold back on the spices, which I appreciate and the food was delicious. So now you know you can have the mild brakes put on your food there. Very nice, clean, and good atmosphere.
