Probably some of the best chicken katsu I’ve had!!! Nice juicy white meat, crunchy outside. I’ve had other Maui Hawaiian BBQ spots before but this one is my favorite. The young man there was kind and attentive to all the customers, he would bring out their order Even if they were sitting outside. Clean tables and seats. Definitely a 5 out of 5!

So I ordered a pan of Manapua and Spam Musubi as well as a Mango blended drink (forgot what it was called). I was so disappointed being from Maui, knowing full well what a manapua and musubi tastes like. The manapua was more like a pork hash then a manapua, and then who puts an egg in the manapua. I’ve enclosed photos of what it looked like. It was pretty bad. The spam musubi was ok, granted I ordered a pan and they said they could make it in 45min and I asked for 20 and they agreed, although we did wait the 45 cause that’s what it took. If your from Hawaii, born and blood, you should not go here. There’s a chance that you won’t be happy like myself.

Ordered two orders of the BBQ mix. Chicken was decent ,so was the beef except a bit too much gristle. The short ribs were almost all fat and very little meat, ruined the experience trying to chew around it.

Website states they close at 9 pm I walked in at 8:40 and I was told by the cashier they could no longer serve me as they had to start cleaning. Then your business hours should display 8:30 to allow your clean up time.
