I absolutely love tropical grille but I’ve always had issues at this location. Specifically with only getting one half filled sauce with a large bowl. But at this most recent visit, on top of the half of a sauce, my order was wrong and they missed an item. We were the only ones there, pretty annoying.

My first visit was today and I can’t believe I’ve waited this long. Very good food. The sauces are great. We had a group of several people, but the service was surprisingly quick. I believe I overheard another customer fussing about the prices, but I thought it was well worth it. If you are looking for Taco Bell or McDonald’s value menu, go there instead. If you want actual good, fresh food at a reasonable price, then I recommend this. My group had a wide variety of entrees and I don’t think anyone left disappointed.

I’ve been a loyal customer of TG since Lazaro opened his first location. I’ve been to every location that exists with the exception of Charlotte and some do better than others. Unfortunately the Clemson location does not need to hold the TG name. I’ve visited about 3 times and every time I’ve had mediocre food and the people who work in the restaurant are not very nice. The chicken at this location is chewy and the rice is hard. The workers look like they don’t want to be there, if you hate your job find a new one. Please do something as this location is giving you’re business a bad name.

Cuban pork bowl delicious, but check the sauces you’re given. I dunno if it’s the dispersal system or what, but I often get a different sauce than the one I asked for.

All the bowls are good, but i favor the south of the border bowl. The jalapeño garlic sauce is very good. Always a smile on the employees face, and they prepare it fresh. That’s appreciated!

This was my first time there. I tried the South of the Border bowl but substituted cauliflower rice for yellow rice. The portion was more than enough for me. The cauliflower rice was not riced, but small pieces of cauliflower. I don’t recall having sour cream or cheese on it.
