Small portions which means cheaper prices, and well worth it! I love that I can get a little bit of everything for breakfast without paying a ton. I got the fried French toast with huckleberries and it was pretty good. He got the combo and it was awesome! Service was fast and friendly with such a cute atmosphere.

First and foremost, breakfast/brunch is my favorite meal and my favorite go to is chicken fried steak. We ordered the chicken fried steak and one of the crab cake eggs Benedict. We also got a glass of peach iced tea and a waffle to try it out. I gotta say the chicken fried steak didn’t have as much flavor as I thought and it was a little dry. The potatoes were good. The eggs Benedict was pretty good and had a lot of flavor. The waffle was waaaay tooo crunchy! There was no way of cutting into it and it mostly just chipped away when we tried to cut into it. I guess it was kind of burnt? It wasn’t edible at all. The peach iced tea was super sweet but I’m not much of a sweet tooth so there’s that.

A few weeks ago, my Mom and a friend wanted to attend a memorial service out in Tracy (we live in Oakland) and they needed a ride. I agreed but didn’t wish to attend the service so I needed to find something to do to pass the time. Food is always a good option and I found Huckleberry’s on Yelp.

Went in on a Sunday & Father’s Day. The staff were friendly and despite being extremely busy, we had a 20 minute wait to be seated and a 30 minute wait to be served which is really good. The food was super tasty!

Ribeye that I ordered medium was over cooked to well. But it was such a thin peice I understood why. Everything else was good. I liked the red potatoes. Need to go back and try some other items.
