First time visiting this place, apparently it’s quite well known as there was a pretty good wait to get in. It’s a little cramped inside, the tables all seemed to be kinds of crammed in together to make more room. That’s probably fine for smaller people, but not so much for those of us if the larger persuasion, but we made it work. Food and service were both excellent, better than the atmosphere inside suggested. Not that it was bad, just didn’t expect good sushi at first glance. Will be back I’m sure.

I absolutely love this place! The chicken wings in Shug sauce is my favorite! There food is cooked very well & customer service is on point! Michael is a very great waiter & makes sure you enjoy yourself! Their caramel cupcakes is very tasty as well! The salmon & pork chops are quite delicious as well.

My friends and I had apps and drinks on the patio. It was a hot evening but the large fans made it very comfortable and also put out enough wind to keep fly’s away so it was a wonderful outdoor experience. I had the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and red pepper jelly. My only negative is the jelly came across as too sweet and not peppery or spicy which I thought would have kept the dish from tasting almost like a savory dessert. I recommend they tweak that jelly and they will have a knockout dish. One friend got the nachos and single handedly ate the entire huge serving by himself, it was so delicious he couldn’t help himself! The other friend got the bang bang shrimp ( only 5 shrimp on the plate so kinda skimpy I thought) but she raved about the flavor) and the freshest tasting side salad she claims to have ever eaten. The night was perfect except we all paid separately and our waitress left with our debt cards and did not return. After about an hour of waiting, we asked another server to find our server and ask for our debt cards back. The girl returned to say the young lady claims to have returned them, however, she had not. After we all went into panic mode wondering where and with whom are our cards, about 20 minutes later they managed to find our cards. We were all getting ready to call our banks to have our cards shut down. It was careless of the server.

Waited almost 2 hours to be seated. Then another hour and 20 minutes for the food to be brought to the table, cold. Tried to sit 10 of us at a table made for 4, maybe 5. Split us up, when we said something but didn’t even sit us near each other. Then had the nerve to add gratuity to the 2 separate checks of 5 each. Service was beyond poor and to expect someone to tip 20% on poor service isn’t acceptable.

My favorite restaurant in Hartsville!!! We eat there almost every week. The food is incredible and such a variety from chicken to steak to Cajun homestyle dishes… and nothing beats their sushi!!! We love their bar and back patio, there is love music also playing 2-3 times per week. Do not miss this amazing place of you need a place to dine in Hartsville
