Very nice terrace , cozy and pretty. Great beer, ordered the first one that appears on the menu and ordered a salad and a hamburger. Honestly the salad was so much better than the hamburger, just add chicken !! Is worth it, you can see in the pictures the size of the chicken.

Was excited for Sterling to open/re-open. Pretty disappointing overall. Maybe give it some time to settle down and find their groove. I will most likely not be back. The menu is pretty diverse, but nothing really jumped out and said, ” try me”. The server was obviously new but pleasant. Fun y observation , the menu has 2 sandwiches, and either of them do not feature protein at all. We had fried cheese curds as an app. The dipping sauces were excellent, but tge curds were pretty greasy ( I know fried ). My son had a kids flatbread pizza. He enjoyed it , but 13 bucks for a slice of pizza is a bit much. My niece had the Citrus Avacado salad. She liked the flavors, but the chicken was overcooked. I had a spinach artichoke flatbread. The flatbread was cooked nicely, with crispy edges. The flavor was meh. I would not suggest it. Again, maybe give them a little time to get going.

First time to Stirling Tavern, and was really impressed. We are at the bar for brunch. The service was quick, and the bartender was very knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the breakfast tacos, which were fresh and delicious. My husband had the wings, which were also fresh and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Shout out to Stirling Tavern Chef! And our lovely waitress Silvanna! Our hostess Kivitka was extremely helpful with gluten free options and genuinely cared. It was very crowed and the table next to ours was huge and drinking and very loud so it was difficult to hear but the food and service were great so I’d recommend going off rush hour. Enjoy!

Mixed drink was perfect. 100% amazing. However, the menu is a little progressive and that is great. Except the staff is incapable of properly executing their mission as they are not trained in customer care. For a menu like this a little explanation of the dishes goes a long way. Did i mention the secret ingredient…? Salt salt and more salt, my hamburger was good but definitively had a lot of salt and i was put off by it. But once i tried one of my daughters chicken fingers”wow” out of control salt salt salt. They were gross and these were chicken fingers how do you screw up Chicken fingers. Also the pork belly tacos special was a complete mess and cooked horrible. It had the texture of a rubber band… Not good. Train the staff to help execute the menu correctly or possibly turn down the progressive volume so the customer is not surprised and upset when they get their meal.

Had lunch, sat outside. The table top was so wobbly you couldn’t rest your elbows on the table! We decided to switch tables but every free table around us was the same. That was unacceptable. I ordered fried shrimp tacos which were not good on many levels- crust was over cooked, seemed like frozen fried shrimp – no taste and difficult to chew, the toppings were tasteless. I was so unimpressed. Seems like the only good thing on the menu are the burger sliders with goat cheese on the appetizer menu.

Stirling Tavern is one of our favorite spots in Morristown. The menu, cocktails, and ambiance are great! A little on the expensive side though.

Beautiful restaurant with great food and good service. I’ve been here several times and never had a bad meal. The food is always fresh and beautifully prepared. The drinks are solid. Wish the dessert menu was bigger but that’s a small complaint. Definitely get a reservation, it’s usually very busy.

Decided to try this restaurant for Lunch since usually it is so crowded and it is difficult to find a parking spot on South street. First the decor is quaint and if you look toward the bar which is separate from the restaurant you see a welcome sign and the staff seating us are very friendly. I decided on a Tavern burger because the ingredients were different. Ground short rib and brisket with applewood smoke bacon. My partner picked the Avocado and Grapefruit Salad red grapefruit segments, avocado, baby arugula feta cheese and a citrus vinaigrette dressing and asked for a grilled Salmon on top which was an additional price and they gladly made it. The burger is large and beautifully served with a side of french fries and the salad with salmon moist and perfectly grilled on top was beautiful. We were not disappointed with our selection and both were delicious. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.
