Ready for a family-owned dive bars experience? This place is very subtle the pool table jukebox era has not died it is very alive at this location with friendly host and bartender the owner is always available and very accommodating to everyone’s needs. Very spacious and also back patio where you and your friends can enjoy a nice bonfire in the night or cookout on any occasion waitress is so nice her name is Deidre and the owner Vinny are such very nice people love this place

I’m not a born and bred resident of Bakersfield, but I have lived here for over 40 years. I also am not a barfly as it were, and as a matter of fact I have not been inside a bar for some 30 years. Strangely enough the last time I was in a bar, it was Vinny”s. This time much like the last time it was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was very calming and the bartender (Vinny I believe) was very congenial. I was able to consume my libations without having to scream over a jukebox, and have a pleasant conversation with an old friend. All of this happened on a Tuesday evening and I’m not sure what the atmosphere is like on Friday or Saturday. I don’t think I’ll try to find out and thus keep Vinny’s bar among the good memories that I have about bars. If I do happen to go to a bar ever again, and if it is still open, I will be doing my drinking at Vinny’s bar.

It’s a Real Dive Bar. In every sense of the word, ahhh word’s. Very experienced bartender’s and decor that may have seen a little too much experience It’s a great spot to wait when you are having your windshield replaced next door at Frank & Son’s Auto Glass. Both places have great prices.

Awesome bar if you just want to hang out and listen to the juke box.. Local bands on friday.. Vinny(the owner) is behind the bar serving the drinks.. my first time there and if I’m on that side of town again and want a drink I’m definently stopping by.
