Service is great. Love the atmosphere. Got the Delmonico steak and it was mediocre. Not worth the cost. Wings were quite delicious. Sides are smaller than average (salad and veggies). Wife got regular fries, and she said they were disappointing. She then got curly fries and they were great. This was our second visit. First was burgers. Burgers were quite delicious. Waitress and owner/manager were wonderful. Allowed me to substitute 3 wings for my sides as all the sides were higher carbs and I’m doing keto. Would absolutely recommend, just wouldn’t get the Delmonico.

This place is pretty neat. There is a game room in the back of the restaurant! We got a barvian pretzel with beer cheese for an appetizer to share, which is always good. One of my favorites! My main dish was the chicken parm sandwich with a side of onion rings. The sandwich was very basic but, good! If you’re afraid tontey wild new flavors and want to stick to something comfortable, I recommend this. The onion rings must have been hand breaded. It’s absolutely amazing. Its a shame they only give you fouor five. The waitress was a little jumbled. She seemed stressed but, handled things well.

Five AM Cat House Party
We sat and waited for a server today (a Sunday afternoon) in a nearly empty restaurant. Two other tables arrived after us. They did not have reservations. The other tables were greeted, waited on, and orders taken while we waited for menus. We tried to get the attention of the waitresses, but they both looked at us and walked off.

This restaurant is positively AMAZING! I stop here every time I make my way to Virginia, and let me tell you, the drinks are fantastic, the food is wonderful, the staff is very friendly and lovely, they always know what’s going on in the community, and it is priced very competitively. Thank you Wilderness Trail for being such good hosts to weary travelers!! And they remembered me after I was there a month before. Absolutely amazing!!

First sit down meal at a restaurant since the stay at home stuff started and have to say it was delightful! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Nice to be able to sit outside and spaced apart from other patrons. Would recommend for anyone coming through town! Suggest the big pretzel appetizer and the chicken ranch sandwich… and the sauces!
