10/10 my favorite (and so far only) place I enjoy getting 小笼包 (xiaolongbao) in SoCal. The skins are thin and delicate – the perfect thickness, which allows the full flavor profile of the soup to be savored. The spicy xlb are the best and most flavorful, so don’t skip out on them. I have lived in SoCal for 3 years and tried numerous dumpling places throughout LA, OC, the 626, and San Diego, but none compare to these, which are reminiscent of my favorite dumplings in SF, so I was always disappointed. I’m so happy to finally have a go-to place.

The XLB and dumplings here are tasty and very juicy! Spicy Wontons were pretty good too. Nice interior and staff were friendly. This is my go to place now over DTF especially with the wait being way more manageable here. Highly recommend.

This place is small, but it’s busy when we get there around 1 pm. with a short wait of 30 minutes. A lot of people compared this restaurant to Ding Tai Fung, saying this place is cheaper, yes it is cheaper. Also, it tastes much better, but my opinion is Ding Tai Fung taste better. So what do you guys think?

First time here, my mom found out of this place from one of her friends and said it was better than ding tai fung. Its closer to us so we decided to give it a try.

The food is pretty good. The beef roll is a must. Pig-ear salad is also very authentic. Potato string shrimp is very interesting, pretty creative. The XLB is good as recommended by all.

We just moved to Irvine from Seattle and would like to try some Chinese restaurants near Irvine. My wife said there is the new Chinese restaurant named Seven Grams in Tustin. That’s an interesting & creative name. I think the owner would like to beat Din Tai Fung, which uses 5 grams for the dumpling skin.

Honestly amazing food, my husband and I went here for the second time today and it was consistently delicious. We tried many different plates and all 10/10.

Too much MSG! Soup tastes artificially, smells artificially and looks VERY yellow. Did not like the taste of food at all. Even could not finish that (my friend the same – could not finish his rice). Buckwheat tea is ok but served in paper cup (even if you eat inside). Service is friendly but they brought a wrong drink…Cucumber salad looks like this (see the pics). Giving 2 stars just to be polite – maybe they will serve food soon that has more natural taste..I cannot stop drinking water after eating the soup!
