Fajita Express and Catering at Canyon Lake TX (local food review) I was not sure about this place at first, I actually thought it was only food to go but I decided to give it a try today. The atmosphere was extremely clean and the Enchiladas were fresh and steaming hot! The service was great, even the cooks made sure I had a good experience. The salsa was the perfect amount of heat and it came out served warm. I give this place a 9/10 rating. Only thing that was missing from my plate was the little side salad that should come with any enchilada plate. I hope you find this review helpfu

Arrived for lunch on a Sunday. There were four of the eleven tables occupied. Service was a bit slow because there was only one waiter working. I ordered the #2 combo. Food came out fairly quickly. The ground beef in the taco and enchilada tasted unseasoned. Otherwise they were good. My partner had the enchiladas poblano. She said they were delicious. It’s a little pricey for what it is IMO. Also, the AC could not keep up. It was hot in the dining room.

Picked up beef fajita dinners for the fam on our way home. Best fajitas in Canyon Lake! Tender and juicy with tons of flavor! The portions were good, came with all the fixins and we even got chips and salsa with our take-out order. The salsa was warm and perfectly spicy. Pico de gallo was fresh and limey just like I like it. Would love to go back!

When it first opened, the food was amazing and on point. Lately, it’s been hit or miss. I’m not sure if the chef has changed, but the last few times we’ve been there, some of the food has been undercooked and not at the same level from when they first started. A few weeks ago, I had a new server wait on us, and I asked for water with lemon. He forgot the lemon, which ok, no big deal, but a few minutes later he came up to me apologized and brought me half a lemon, not on a plate but presented it off his hand. Lol, he was young and new, and I still used it, it was the rind touching his hand, but I got very sick later that night, which had never happened since we’d been going there. Sad to say, the quality has lately been at a steady decline.

Got my usual chili relleno but today it was not good at all. The relleno pepper was cold, the cheese inside was not even melted, and the rice was still crunchy. Definitely not worth the price.

The gentleman who works here helped my mom to her car today with her to-go order. Thank you! The food is delicious. I got a beef fajita taco and there is so much meat on it! The chips and salsa are great and my mom loved her combo plate with a Chile rellano. Great people and great food!

Our first time there and we did take out. A little too much lettuce in my taco salad BUT nachos, enchiladas and tacos were excellent! Very friendly staff and very clean establishment. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow, this is the most expensive place I have ever been to. $16.75 for 1 chicken fajita taco on a regular flour tortilla with a scoop of substandard rice and a half scoop of blan refried beans. Never again for me, sorry guys for the bad review.
