Almost threw up after biting into a wing. So much grease it was dripping out of the meat. No flavor from any of their food. Lo mein noodles were not lo mein noodles they were spaghetti noodles with dry sauce clumped up all over the noodles. Wonton soup was very tough the wonton dumplings were chewy. The honey chicken was tough and didn’t have any sauce on them the honey chicken had a side of honey to go with them and that is what they considered honey chicken. The egg rolls were cabbage eggrolls no meats no other flavor in them. I guess when a customer places an order in the evening, they give their customers the left over, dried up food they were going to throw into the trash. Called to say I will bring the food back for a full refund and they hung up. The food was thrown in my trash because it was not edible. I will dispute with my bank for sure. I did not get what I ordered.

I rarely leave poor reviews but this was gross and $20 wasted. The honey chicken is fried in so much bread and was soggy inside with dry chicken inside. I don’t know exactly how that is accomplished but it wasn’t good to eat at all. The noodles were soggy, and steamed dumplings doughy. Wouldn’t recommend and hope this helps others.

For me,Absolutely love the food from China Wok,very nice people (new owner which is very good service and super friendly),I moved here about a year,I have been there several times to order dinner for my family,and I always oder a lot food from them.Im the person who don’t write reviews until I saw bad reviews,go there once and wrote a review tell people they ain’t good.You can’t judge people with subjective opinions.Because no one is perfect all the time. Anyway,I will always go back there for chinese food.

So disappointing!! Used to be the best Chinese food in the area. Recently, portions are smaller and prices higher. I normally get the honey chicken and it would be dressed with the honey sauce already on. Today when I picked my order (honey chicken with pork fried rice, crab rangoon, and egg rolls). The chicken was burnt and dry, the sauce in a separate container, the pork fried rice was extremely salty, the crab rangoon burnt, and the egg rolls were like the ones you would buy in the frozen food section at Walmart, no meat just cabbage. The food was just not fresh at all! Why not call and complain, one would say right? I would have called to complain but I have learned a long time ago with Chinese restaurants that, 1) They do not care and will not replace your food and 2) They will never give your money back! I will not be going back to that restaurant nor will recommend that place to anyone.

Noodles are dry, rice is yellow not authentic, honey chicken is just chicken with a side cup of honey… Very disappointing. They don’t know how to cook.

I always order Chinese from this place it is the best Chinese food in Haines city by far. I would personally recommend getting the lo mein or the orange chicken when it’s earlier in the day and order the curry chicken it’s very good I just think it’s funny whenever you order over the phone you always get yelled at but it’s OK because they’re always fast and I always get my food on time and I’ve noticed that their customer service getting a little better. I personally feel that they should advertise a little bit more because they’re kind of hidden in a corner. But if you’re ordering Chinese I implore that you get them even though they’re a little pricey but it’s worth the price.

First and last time. Online menu showed $11 for our two lunches but we were charged almost $17. I wouldn’t of minded the price but the food was flavorless. LoMein was terribly overcooked and dry with only 5 shrimp. Lomein also had no veggies in it except a few pieces of onion. Beef pepper steak had no flavor either. I gave it 2 stars for the order being ready on time and packaged well.

By far the BEST Shrimp lo mein I have had at any of the chinese restaurants in Haines City or in Polk County…My wife had the Mei Fun and said it was the best also…Have to try their Hong Kong rice…Excellent!!! Our to go to Chinese place for sure
