I was super excited to find a Bob Evans 20 minutes from where my family is looking at buying a house. We currently live in NC so we drove 7 hours to get out here. Excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Waitress brought cold coffee, I asked for a hot cup and she brought back another cold cup. We were there for over 30 minutes just waiting. Entire time we sat, there were multiple tables with dishes and food just sitting there. Floor had food all over it. Multiple tables seemed very disgruntled with the service. When I inquired about what was going on lady said they were short staffed… Didn’t look short staffed just poorly managed as there was a number of workers there but only a few of them seemed to be actually working. Really unfortunate first experience here in town.

Stopped for morning brunch on the way to hocking hills. Food was great service was not.. she didn’t check on us for along time. Finished my food before I got a refill. But people have a bad day. It happens. Would eat again.

If you dine eat expect the best. If you order take out lower your expectations as low as you can go. This is the second time we’ve ordered Cobb salads and both times they looked like someone’s leftovers. One If the salads has lettuce, chicken, 3 tiny pieces of old looking tomato and a 1/4 tsp of bacon. It was all stirred together like they were trying to hide the fact that so much of it was missing. I overlooked the first time because anything can happen once but two times? There won’t be a third.

The food here was not prepared as we had ordered, and was disappointing. We waited probably 30-45 minutes for our food. I had ordered a BLT with no mayo, but it came out with mayo on the bacon and tomato. My mother ordered an omelet, but it came out overdone and very greasy. My father ordered eggs over medium, but they came out hard. The hash browns that were ordered were also burnt. The only things that we had that were made correctly were the pancakes and the bacon. Very disappointing!

I just want to say this morning we stopped in and an elderly gentlemen waved and said good morning to us and our daughter and little did I know he was going to bless us with paying for our food after having a long drive ahead to our destination to get to vacation. Also our food was amazing service was great I can’t remember our servers name and I’m sorry for that because she was amazing I hope you and your littles have an amazing time in gatlinburg in a few weeks.

Would not return to this location if not for father-in-laws place to go. After Father’s Day visit I refuse to go back and pay for another lousy meal. Waitress’s are generally decent but not full tip service. Wait time for meal takes an hour minimum. When you do get it they don’t disappoint. Thier only consistency is its cold and over cooked. Will not be back to this location no matter what family occasion is going on.

Food as always at Bob Evan’s was great. But the best part of our visit was our waitress Nora. She was AMAZING. She was so friendly and helpful. Even helping us decide on a hotel to spend the night. Her advice was very much appreciated. She went above and beyond just serving the excellent food. She seems to really enjoy her job, which is so refreshing. We will remember her and stop here on our way home and any time we travel this way.

Pretty abysmal, though this particular location has always struggled. I feel bad for everyone working there. They seem to be doing their best with what they have but what they have seems to be a chronically understaffed business in a dirty building. I assume the blame ultimately falls on management. We were there with my grandfather (who is notoriously demanding, even at chain restaurants) and the staff were really doing their best to keep on top of things. Nobody was working the till consistently and everyone else seemed too overburdened with their own tasks and covering for others to step in quickly. My grandfather’s only complaint I agreed with was that his sausage patties were dry and shrunken as If they had been cooked, set aside, and then overcooked in an attempt to reheat them. Still, they brought out replacements promptly which looked fine. If they were properly staffed and took a slow day to get things cleaned up then this would be just as mediocre as any other Bob Evans.
