Stopped by here during a trip to East Tennessee. The restaurant was clean and bright and all the associates were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman that took our order was very helpful as we do not have a Buddy’s in our town and were not familiar with the menu. And the young man that was cleaning tables was very helpful as well. And most importantly the food was delicious and freshly made. Both the barbecue chicken and pork were excellent and the home seasoned green beans delightful!

This place has gone downhill quite a bit lately. Oftentimes it seems that it’s just staffed by students. Other times the food is not up to par. The last visit we had served to us pulled chicken that was about 25% gristle, fat, and dried out skin. The chicken itself was incredibly dry.

I recently went to this location at a slow time of day, not busy. The cashier was rude. The rest of the staff was having loud conversations that were inappropriate in front of customers. Unfriendly & unwelcoming place. Food was very mediocre. Tables were dirty. Definitely not going to return to this location. Staff needs to be re-trained in customer service.

Pork was very dry and hard to chew and fries were not cooked thoroughly. Bathrooms were unsanitary, especially the hand dryer and sink. This was my very first employer in high school and it’s sad to see how far down hill it has gone in 21 years.

My wife picked up 2 lbs of ribs today, large fry, and potato salad. This order cost my family 41$. What a disgrace, the ribs were so dry they pulled apart like a section of rope. Was like I was eating straw. Not just how dry they were, but where the hell did u find such meatless ribs? Maybe they were cooked or kept warm so long that they withered away to nothing. How about stop being money pigs and concentrate on putting out a good product? WOW, what an idea!

This is supposed to be a large pork sandwich with Swiss cheese and cole slaw and sauce – no cole slaw, cheese can’t be melted by a cold bun when there is what appears to be a spoonful of meat. I’m beginning to have bad experiences at all locations and that used to never happen. I order one sandwich and they can’t get it right?
