Food was great! My only problem was when the check came and the waitress tipped herself. Both of our checks at our table the waitress filled out the tip section her self. I will not be coming back for a while. It’s not that she didn’t deserve it but being as I’m the one paying the bill with my hard earned money I would have liked to be the one to decide her tip.

Burger was big and good. $20+ steak was inedible, tough, overcooked, strange almost rotten flavor. They took it back and discounted me a few dollars as I ate 3 small (jumbo) shrimp, they were good. Charged me for untouched sides, premium price, about $6.99 each for veggies and baked potato.

What can I say about the Runway Cafe, except it is very hard to get a seat at times, I guess that says it all about their food, I have been coming to the Runway for quite some time and they always have excellent food. The owner is a very outgoing, talking to his guest and his staff is the same, very polite and professional.

Flew into Angleton’s Texas Gulf Coast Regional Airport with some friends for lunch at the Runway Cafe. Two of us had the fried shrimp. The other had the fried catfish. The service was friendly and quick and the fried shrimp were very good! My friend said his catfish was good as well. The coleslaw and fries were also good. Will definitely return for lunch sometime.
