Definitely worth the visit… The food was well made, just lacked flavor for me. Maybe that’s a personal issue, being a fan of super spicy food . Very cool look and feel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend this place.

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the place was virtually empty other than a couple dining and bar patrons. I self-seated and waited only a few minutes for a server. My Arnold Palmer wasnt good (2nd time in two days) ITS JuSt ½ lemonade & ½ iced tea. But ive been getting 70/30 or 20/80 in Ann Arbor. Menu was pretty clean and simple to choose from. Prices are spicy tho…but thats everywhere. I had the Shroom & Swiss burger & ceasar salad. Salad was super cold and crisp and good! Burger was slight done juicy and oozing with mushrooms. Dessert was fresh baked cookies, so I had to try them all: oatmeal cherry, choco chip, & brownie. They didnt get to cool as much as i would have liked, so be sure to order as ur finishing your entree. I would definitly eat here again! Be sure to hit the thumbs up if u found this helpful

Service was a bit slow in that every item took forever to get to our table, but otherwise, a nice pub to catch up with friends or family over sports or drinks. Colleague and I ordered the Grape-Mimosa and Bloody Mary with Nachos to start. The nachos got to our table almost 30 min after our drinks, which by then were almost over and not by definition an accompanimentat that point. After all that wait, you’d expect better, but they were just meh. Bit dry, not enough salsa or cheese for all the corn.

I stopped by Haymaker on Saturday and found out they have recently opened up brunch. I tried the Deep Fried French Toast. It was a unique dish – the cornflake coating was crispy, and the cinnamon sugar added a nice touch of sweetness. The fresh berries and house-made whipped cream were a good complement to the dish. Overall, it was a satisfying brunch option, and I will come back again to try something else from the menu.

Haymaker Public House turned out to be a great choice for us! We were in the local area looking for a late dinner. Haymakers Public House was open, we came in and sat at the bar. The Restaurant overall was nice, they had Trivia Night going on.

May 2022 – came here with the family after touring the city. Nice place and they have some nice screens for a game. Plenty of room and our waitress (Rachel) was great! For food we got the 1.0 LB Pretzel. It was good. Wife ordered the chicken and waffles, said it was good. I got the shroom Swiss burger and that was good. I ordered the Sierra Rose Blackberry Can. That was really good and my wife ordered the ciderboys first press and was also good. My sister in law ordered the fish and chips but didn’t like it. My wife tried it and didn’t care for it. I think it was supposed to be a light fish but it was to fishy for both of them. Overall a good place. I would come back here. Also, they have kids food, and they had board games to play. Different but a good touch.

It was all fine and tasted great. It’s just very expensive for what it is. Lunch for two, including 2 drinks a piece, cost $75. Then there was a 3% service charge for using a card, and suggested tips started at 25%. You shouldn’t suggest up to 25-35% when the menu is priced that high. Sucks that dining out at sports bars has to be a special treat nowadays.

The waitress was clueless! Didn’t want to show me how to read the drinks or food menu, didn’t understand when I said to cool my child’s macaroni and cheese.. my fish was described as battered. It was covered in a cornbread breading. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich with dip. (Au shu) and it was cold. The waitress never came to check on us through the meal, I went to the bathroom and our waitress was sitting at a table like a regular customer, with other waitresses, EATING. I’m not knocking them getting lunch but we were her customers. She could’ve waited or sent another waitress to care for us. This place is not handicapped friendly, NOT kid friendly, I’m a diabetic and they had no drinks that I could drink. This was our FIRST time coming here, and it will be our LAST!!

I went here earlier today during the new season premier of Impractical Jokers. I am a big fan so it was important for me to watch it live on the BIG screen. Thankfully a kind and very respectful employee doing the take out was able to switch the tv. The service was exceptional, will definitely be coming back.

Arrived at 11PM after a long day of travel and happily they were still open, and even more excited that we were still able to order food. Got two salads, since that’s what you need at 11PM at night instead of a big burger, and the salads were dang awesome! Very fresh and tasty. Backed that up with some great pints served by friendly staff. Would definitely recommend Haymaker for both food and festivities.
