We order out here every week and it’s the best we’ve had in Baltimore. The staff is very nice even though people get so rude and impatient when it’s busy. You wonder why it’s busy? Because it’s delicious. They have an option for white meat which I hugely appreciate, their egg rolls are on point and their lo mein is mouthwatering.

I’m always nervous about trying new Chinese places because they are not all equal. My favorite place recently closed so I’ve been on the search for a new spor. I think China Dragon may be it. I ordered general tso chicken – it was dark meat but you can pay extra for white, good flavor, pretty fresh ; pork fried rice – I asked for no peas and carrots but it came with sprouts and onion… wasn’t greasy or soaked in soy sauce; dumplings were bland (won’t get these again); shrimp egg foo young was a winner! The patties weren’t too eggy and the gravy had a rich flavor that wasn’t liquidity or oily. Next time I’ll ask for gravy on the side because I like to choose how much to add. Egg rolls were pretty good too. Again not greasy. I ordered later in the evening so I wasn’t sure if I’d get day old food. I didn’t… it was good. B+/A-

I thought I would try this place since it came up in my search on Door Dash. I’m sorry but this was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It was bland with no seasoning or taste. They also added the white rice into the egg foo young, instead of on the side that my neighbor ordered which I have never had happen. We ordered beef Yat Gaw Mein (dry), seafood egg foo young and chicken egg foo young (both bland and tasteless). I didn’t even eat the spring rolls because I was so turned off.

I ordered the vegetable lo mein and the vegetable fried rice, both were delicious. My daughter order the orange chicken, she was not a fan of the taste nor presentation/packaging. I would’ve given 5 stars based only off of my food but my daughter didn’t like the quality of her food which is why I only gave 4 stars.

I was looking for a another Chinese takeout in the area to try so I decided to try China Dragon this past Saturday. I ordered the shrimp curry & fried chicken wings it was very good. Everything was fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean which is a plus. The cashier was pleasant. They ran out of menus to hand out but they did offer the scan code to look online with your phone. This may be my new Chinese go to spot for now on. Thanks China Dragon
