I come here often. Tried a little bit of everything & I like their food. Some says it’s expensive, but it’s a larger burrito than most places, so you get what you pay for.

Let’s say you’re in a desert with only fast food around and you see a beacon of hope. That’s La Burreria. Wow!! We had the brisket, avocado and cheese burrito. Delicious! Man I missed Texas! Authentic food with authentic taste.

We were visiting from out of state and ate here twice. The brisket and avacado we had for lunch was fantastic! We really liked the papas and chorizo the next morning, but the brisket was something else! I’m giving a 4 for atmosphere only because it’s more of a grab and go kind of place, but it was clean and bright in the dining room – totally appropriate for the type of place it is.

I thought I ordered an egg burrito when I got the bacon and egg since there were barely any bacon. The size of the burrito is not as big as chipotle but it’s pretty comparable so imagine how much eggs there were. 99% of it were all eggs. I’m sure there weren’t even a single slice of bacon in that burrito.

I ordered the beans with chorizo on corn tortillas and papas con chorizo. The beans and chorizo were perfectly made and their corn tortillas have a taste that reminds me of Mexico. The papas con chorizo was blended well and the food was not dry. Some might see the price and not want to go but trust me, one taco is enough. And lastly, their salsa was great. Asked for hot and that is exactly what it was.

Echoing the other “5 Star Comments,” absolutely WONDERFUL Staff and equally GREAT FOOD!! I routinely grab a breakfast burrito after my workout at the gym (Mission Fitness located conveniently down Eastridge from this fantastic little restaurant)…it’s how I “justify” my daily carbs…LOL. Seriously, though, the food is not only FANSTASTIC but they are NOT at ALL “stingy” when it comes to the amount of food that comes [ESP] on the breakfast burritos. W/o ANY reservation I can attest to the F-A-C-T that they have the largest burritos (ESP for the price) for a “fast food-style” eatery with restaurant quality food!! Most of their breakfast burritos are priced so [very] FAIRLY; $4.99 for a burrito – myself included – that I generally cannot eat the entire burrito at once (I often cut it in half which works out WONDERFULLY since I visit them, basically, EVERY other day!).

9/9/21- I had a Discada burrito and a Brisket with Beans and Cheese burrito today to go. Both burritos were fresh and delicious especially the Discada burrito. I also tried the beef taco plate and it was delicious as well.

La Burreria is a quick option for extremely affordable burritos. I like that their burritos are just meat and avocados if you choose, they’re more similar to what I’m used to in Southern California. The tortillas are soft and fluffy, and the asado and avocado burrito was delicious. They also have some pretty good queso. For $5 a burrito, I can’t help but give it 5 stars.
