Great environment and even better food. It took a while to get our food but understandable as they just opened. I think the best thing is their French fries! I won’t say it, but one could argue they may possibly be better than in and out. I didn’t say they are better I’m just saying they could be. Anyway nice restaurant addition to Chico.

Food tastes alright, strikingly close to In-n-Out. The service is nice but extremely slow. Usually, if I’m the only customer, it takes about 10 minutes. Which is hopefully a sign that the food is being prepared carefully and expertly. The atmosphere is boring but super clean, which is nice. I’ve never seen more than three customers eating here at one time.

Habit Burgers can definitely be habit forming. I’ve wanted to try this place for awhile, but waited until they arrived in Chico… it was worth the wait! I ordered the Teriyaki Tenderloin sandwich on ciabatta bread, onion rings, abdominal a medium drink. I waited a paltry 5 min before it arrived. I got a few peppers and ketchup, then started. The meat was medium-rare, sliced perfectly, and had plenty of flavor to go with the fresh tomato and lettuce. The onion rings were a rich golden brown, crispy, and plentiful (10 rings!!) compared to other establishments… NO ranch available though. All in all, a wonderful meal placed against other burger joints in Chico. Habit should do well if they can sustain the overall makeup and employee productivity. I will return and continue with the other menu items.

I am glad the Habit is in town now. I had a chance to try their food before the grand opening, and I had nothing but positive things to say. The burger is juicy and fries are better than In N Outs. The portion is also generous that I get a food coma afterwards. Definitely recommend to check it out.

The service was slow even though we were the only people there. Fries were cold. The manager/ owner was obviously annoyed/ angry about something. THE MUSIC WAS TOO LOUD!. It was clean enough inside. I will do the drive-through or order and pickup from now on.
