What a wonderful find in Wilmington! My wife and I were looking to try new restaurants in the area and came across El Arriero Taqueria 2 on Market St. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. The young man at the counter took the time to explain some of the options to us and later came by the table to make sure we were happy with our food. I ordered 2 street tacos and a tamale. The food was amazing, especially the marinated pork for the tacos. The steak was slightly dry but still tasty. The Tamale was slightly overcooked on one end but was still tasty. My wife raved about her fish tacos exclaiming they are the best she had at any Mexican restaurant. The toppings bar is nice with plenty of cilantro, onion, and other toppings to personalize your meal. I will say none of the salsa’s or sauces are labeled. Be careful because the one that looks like Valentina hot sauce is actually Habanero! Try the sauce before adding it to your food because you may be in for quite a surprise otherwise. I highly recommend this place and plan to return.

I bought a Taco Salad and it was freshly made (wait time was 15 mins.) It was smaller than expected but tasty and larger than Taco Bell. This was my first time there and I am planning on going back and try a burrito !

We came her valentines weekend with our kids. It was nice service and great food. The place was clean and we loved it. The only thing was how they charged for shrimp quesadilla. We would definitely return.

After trying quite a few different Latin restaurants in town, I noticed an online, takeout Parillada special that feeds 4 people for only $25. Why not try out this new restaurant and support local business in a time of need.

Fantastic! Delicious flavors, great options at reasonable prices. It’s a terrific Mexican restaurant experience. I got a pick-3 combo with a tostada, quesadilla and a taco with rice and beans, I really enjoyed it. Great salsa bar. Five stars!

Fantastic Carnitas Tacos and amazing desserts. Cheesecake is not too sweet, homemade, smooth but could have a little thinner crust. Tres leces was awesome and had just enough cinnamon on top. The chocoflan was my favorite. The churros were a little raw in the middle. I’m stuffed!!

Excellent birria tacos! My husband and I couldn’t quit raving about them all evening. Friendly customer service, fresh ingredients, and fair prices. I do wish you received chips with your meal because they had some tasty salsas on their bar, but you can purchase chips for an extra price if you want. Will definitely return to the other dishes.

Best hidden taco gem in Wilmington! We ordered two tacos, Gordita, Chicken quesadilla, two burritos, four Mexican Cokes, and horchata. Food was hot, quick, spicy and full of flavor. Restrooms were clean and remodeled with beautiful tile. We truly enjoyed it and will be back for more.

People were very nice about not being able to fulfill an order due to lack of supply and called ahead to notify us and we were not charged for it. Food was amazing and was ready under 20 minutes, although needs more visitors!
