So my wife and I were traveling. We don’t have a crystals in South Carolina so whenever we travel through Georgia Tennessee we get excited at the opportunity to experience Krystals. We had to stop and get gas. There’s a crystals at this exit that says it was open until 10:00 p.m. it was approximately 9:30. We decided to get Crystal’s first as they would be closing soon. We pulled up and into the drive through. Waited in the drive-thru for 3 to 5 minutes called out. Nobody answered. Drove around to the drive through window. Saw people inside moving about pulled around. Started to pull into a parking place thinking maybe they were only open inside. They literally turned out the lights on us at 9:40. I appreciate the fact that you have to close down and do your nightly duties, but if your hours are till 10:00 p.m. those duties should commence after your officially closed. Won’t ever return to that crystals for sure. Luckily about 15 or 20 mi further west than I-20. We found a crystals that was open till 11:00 so we still got our sack full. But needless to say, if I was that franchise owner I would want to know who that person was closing that night and I’d seriously look at retraining.

We stopped here on a road trip to get some Krystal burgers. The food was as good as a Krystal burger can be and that I remember from 20 years ago. The service was okay, but could use more upbeat staff to deal with customers, and the atmosphere was a little drab. Seemed dirty, just wanted food to go, wouldn’t sit inside.

The burgers were terrible. LOADED with an unnecessary amount of mustard. LITERALLY SAID NO ONIONS AND MAKE SURE JUST CHEESE ONLY!! Such a waste of $25 bucks. Disgusting. Girl working the drive thru, which is broken so you have to order at the window, was extremely rude. They were out of basically all drinks except Fanta. The chick’s she put in our bag were like hockey pucks. We also ordered just the regular chick’s and she put the spicy ones in the bag instead. It was awful. The worst krystals we’ve ever been to. No wonder there were no cars there. Go anywhere but here.
