Nice place, they did a good job painting inside and converting it from the seafood place it was. Staff were very friendly. Bathrooms were clean. The menu is very extensive, prices are average. Chips were good. Salsa was runny but good. Cheese sauce was very good, one of the best I’ve had around town. Homemade hot sauce was good and spicy. Beans were fresh but not very flavorful. Rice was cooked fine, ok flavor but I wouldn’t order it as a meal. All the meat was cooked well and seasoned well. The chipotle sauce was the star of my meal.

We went here last week Saturday with some friends. My friend Daniel found this place and he’s kinda obsessed with it. We ordered fajitas for 2, and let me tell you it EASILY fed all 4 of us. And Daniel one ate over 100 shrimp at the all you eat feed lobster glutton fest.

This is one my two go-to places when I travel to Grand Rapids from the Metro Detroit area. The people are nice, I go early in the evening, so it’s always quiet calm. It’s also an amazing value for what you get. My whole meal here, with a 20% tip was only $33. I will keep coming back.

We loved it here. Traveling from out of town. Popped in on a Friday night. Not too busy. Greeted upon entering. Seated quickly. Drink orders taken and chips & salsa delivered to our table in no time! I got the 3 shrimp tacos. My husband got the monterrey burrito. We both really enjoyed our meals! His burrito was HUGE! Service was friendly and prompt. There were several large groups and families here. Seems like a very friendly environment.

This was our first visit. The atmosphere was great. They were super busy. They really need more staff on a night as busy as it was. However, staff could have been light due to the snowy evening, not sure. Drinks were served promptly, but when the food arrived, we didn’t have silverware and waited a bit to get so our food got cold. Some items were missing, and I had to remind waitstaff to bring. The food was very good, though. They had a band, and it was a great evening with them added. We will return again to see if this night was a one-off. But all in all, it was a great evening.

Fantastic food, fantastic prices and glad we went. I probably would avoid a time with the mariachi band cause it was so loud but everyone else seemed to enjoy it so we just made due.
